Afterwards, Montreal welcomes you with its European charm as the second largest francophone city in the world. A city tour* combines picturesque town houses and wide boulevards with a walk in the underground city. Alternatively, the wineries in the Eastern Townships* will awaken the sommelier in you.

With its French savoir vivre and Canadian zest for life, Quebec invites you to explore the city. A walking tour with tea at Chateau Frontenac* brings around 400 years of history to life. A trip to Montmorency Falls and Ile d’Orleans* introduces you to some of the country’s oldest French settlements.

Cruising on the Saguenay Fjord
Indian summer hues will colour your route with accents of reds and yellows. The exact period and intensity of the natural phenomenon are difficult to predict, but the timing of your cruise is favourable for enjoying colour-intensive impressions. One of the largest side branches of the St Lawrence River, the Saguenay, is also particularly picturesque at this time of year. Experience the wilderness actively on a hike* or by seaplane*. Cruising on the Saguenay Fjord, you may be lucky to spot belugas, which can be found hunting for fish and plankton here all year round.

As Canada’s oldest town, Tadoussac takes you back to the time of the first settlers. The perfect place to explore independently.

The idyllic harbour town of Perce invites you to linger with its colorful houses, cozy cafés and local craft stores. The 438 m long and approx. 88 m high limestone rock Rocher Perce, which juts out of the sea in front of the town, is particularly impressive. Enjoy the view of the picturesque bay and rocky coastline on a boat trip*. With luck, you will spot the many bird species that live here, such as the gannet. The natural surroundings invite you to go on hikes* to discover the untouched beauty of this region.

Prince Edward Island, Iles de la Madeleine
In Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island, you will explore the birthplace of Canada. The history of the Confederation is overruled by nature in all its glory on a scenic tour* or a visit to an oyster farm*. On the Iles de la Madeleine, red cliffs and long sandy beaches provide breathtaking island impressions*. Alternatively, a culinary tour* combines cheese, fish and the art of brewing.
