Talbot Runhof has been firmly established both in Germany and internationally on the Parisian catwalks for more than 15 years now, and offers subtly elegant fashion with fascinating details.
If we were to elaborate, we could add the following: Never go too far, but always go far enough! For Adrian Runhof and Johnny Talbot, this is not just a design mantra, but a philosophy for life.
The best way to describe the Talbot Runhof look is to describe a Talbot Runhof customer: her charm, wit and noblesse often become apparent only at second glance. She pays attention to a few fascinating details that are not imposing, but ultimately add brilliance to her look. She seems refreshingly plain, but isn’t. Her subtle elegance perfects her look.
Johnny Talbot, designer
Born in Nashville, Tennessee/USA, in 1964, Johnny Talbot is a qualified electrical engineer. He initially worked as a programmer for the American government and later for Radio Free Europe in Munich. After an inspiring encounter with Adrian Runhof, he threw in the towel and devoted himself to a career in fashion design. Johnny is the mastermind behind the mathematical precision and the elaborate yet subtle construction of a Talbot Runhof dress.
Adrian Runhof, designer
Born in Mainz in 1963, Adrian Runhof studied business administration and grew up in a family of fashion producers and retailers. He launched his own fashion brand at an early stage and then worked as an adviser to various national and international fashion companies. His passion is the exquisite materials used by Talbot Runhof. He also defines the style and leads all areas of the Talbot Runhof brand world.

If his parents had their way, Dimitris Dimitrakoudis would have studied medicine. Fortunately, in the lecture theatres of the Medical University of Vienna he decided against it, moved to Paris, and pursued his true calling. Dimitris’s passion is hair, from cutting to styling to hairdressing technology. He applied to Jacques Dessanges Paris and learned from the master in the arts of Parisian hairdressing. His next few jobs – at Vidal Sassoon in London and Bumble & Bumble in New York – were equally glamorous and show the importance Dimitris placed on perfecting his craft. All he needed now for a successful career in hairdressing was inspiration and contacts. Having spent a long time living and working abroad, including in Vienna, Budapest, Milan and Miami, Dimitris travelled frequently and still does. For many years, he has assisted the largest designers backstage at fashion weeks and as a L’Oreal ambassador, creating exclusive looks for their shows. Many international clients place their hair in Dimitris’s experienced hands, including the hottest faces on the modelling scene, beauty and fashion editors from the largest fashion magazines (who often book him for shoots) and popular bloggers. Dimitris and his long-term partner L’Oreal opened Germany’s first Kerastase institute. And the Braunschweig salon noon individual hair has been running for 14 years now and has been Dimitris’s residence of choice since 2015. To give his creativity more room to grow, the enterprising hair and make-up artist closed his salon in Hamburg in early 2015. It goes without saying that he has not turned his back on his fans in Hamburg: every month they can book an appointment with him and his Hamburg team in the city centre at Kaiser-Wilhelm-Strasse 47.

He studied in Paris and in 1998 he was awarded first prize at the International Harp Competition in Bloomington, Indiana, immediately becoming the first French musician to join the ranks of the prestigious Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Aside from commissions from composers such as Kaija Saariaho, he performs works like Smetana’s “Ma Vlast" with breathtaking precision, presenting masterful arrangements of works that are usually played by an entire orchestra. The interpretation of these works, that few harpists before him have even considered playing, has contributed to his reputation as one of the most creative and extraordinary musicians of his generation.
Xavier de Maistre has appeared with major orchestras under the direction of such eminent conductors as Bertrand de Billy, Lionel Bringuier, Daniele Gatti, Kristjan Järvi, Philippe Jordan, Riccardo Muti, Andrés Orozco-Estrada and André Previn. He performs at many leading international festivals, including Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Salzburg Festival, Budapest Spring Festival and Mostly Mozart in New York. He collaborates with such chamber music partners as Diana Damrau, Magali Mosnier, Daniel Müller-Schott, Baiba Skride and Arabella Steinbacher. Since 2001 Xavier de Maistre has taught at the Hamburg Academy of Music. He also gives regular masterclasses at New York’s Juilliard School of Music, Tokyo’s Toho University and London’s Trinity College of Music.
