From June 2015, the EUROPA 2 will set sail for the Mediterranean season with new, exciting, mind-broadening, and active shore excursions. For example, guests can make their firsts attempts at diving under the supervision of a certified instructor in Thassos/Greece. Of course, a diving adventure for experienced divers is also available. For those interested in local Mediterranean cuisine, a cooking workshop is offered in at one of the best-rated seafood restaurants in Rhodes. Guests will be given lots of tips and tricks for preparing fish and seafood, as well as various Greek starters. Anchored in Viareggio/Italy, guests can book an exclusive sailing trip along one of Italy’s most beautiful coast lines.

Great demand: bike excursions with on-board bike guide

Since its introduction in June 2014, the concept continues to be highly popular. “Easy-going”, “Active & high-energy”, and “Active lite” are the three offerings in selected ports based on local conditions. Beginners can enjoy the scenery during a leisurely ride on a flat route. By contrast, experienced cyclists have the opportunity to take part in challenging rides over uneven terrain. The 14 hardtail mountain bikes are available in various sizes. All tours are between 4-5 hours in length and cost €59.
