Important Flight Information Regarding the Current Situation in the Middle East

Last updated: March 6, 2026 - 3:30 p.m.

The safety and well-being of our guests and crew are always Hapag-Lloyds Cruises' top priority. We are deeply moved by the developments in the Middle East and are monitoring the situation continuously and very closely.

Due to several regional airspace closures, Qatar Airways and Emirates have significantly reduced their services via Doha and Dubai. As flight availability can change at short notice, we rely on information from the airlines and are in close contact with our partners.

We are currently working diligently to gradually rebook all flights via the United Arab Emirates up to and including March 31, 2026. We will proactively contact all affected guests in the coming days. However, given the exceptionally high global demand for alternative connections, there may be delays in rebooking. We ask for your understanding that flights via other Asian hubs may involve longer travel times or limited seat availability. We therefore strongly recommend that you check in online as early as possible to secure your seat in case of overbooking.

All flights scheduled from April onwards will be reviewed as soon as a more reliable assessment of the situation is possible. As soon as information about available connections is confirmed or short-term changes are necessary, we will immediately inform booked guests and partners. We kindly ask you to refrain from individual inquiries at this time and thank you for your patience and understanding.
