What to expect

The highlights of this cruise

Look forward to a relaxing cruise: a wonderful mix of cultural highlights, Mediterranean landscape and culinary delights awaits you along the blue bays of the eastern Mediterranean.

To begin with, the beautiful sights that Croatia has to offer will inspire you: via DUBROVNIK, you will reach SPLIT and the waterfalls of the Krka National Park*. The scenic location of KOTOR in neighbouring Montenegro is also fabulous. At the end of a fjord, romantic impressions await you in the labyrinth of the medieval old town. In MONOPOLI, enjoy a relaxing catamaran trip* along the blue bays before immersing yourself in the history of the region. Via SARANDE, you will reach the excavations of Butrint*, and near MONEMVASIA the Byzantine mountain fortress of Mystras* is perched in a breathtaking lofty location. The islands of Greece beckon with the joys of spring. The green valleys and mountain slopes, rocky gorges and fragrant pine forests of CRETE’S hinterland* are the setting for numerous myths. RHODES is just as beguiling, where you can explore the white village of Lindos*. Then indulge in Turkish cuisine* in BODRUM and visit the world of antiquity one last time at NAUPLIA in legendary Mycenae* before bidding farewell in the harbour of PIRAEUS.

    Relaxation at sea
  • Are you ready for an adventure in the mysterious world of Monemvasia? Immerse yourself in a medieval fortress on a rocky peninsula, which is shrouded in legends and history. Explore the well-preserved Venetian buildings and enjoy the breathtaking views over the azure-blue sea. The rich history of the island has been shaped by the Byzantines, Franks and Venetians. A visit to Monemvasia is like a journey back in time and will captivate you with its distinctive beauty.
  • The town of Agios Nikolaos was built around a natural freshwater lake and is home to the relics of an ancient civilisation. Lake Voulismeni is a popular meeting point with charming cafes. The island of Spinalonga, a former leper colony, is an impressive spot to visit nearby. From Agios Nikolaos, you can also visit the famous archaeological sites of Knossos and Phaistos. With its rich history, picturesque surroundings and proximity to other historical sites, Agios Nikolaos is the ideal starting point to explore Crete.
  • The old town of Rhodes, a UNESCO World Heritage site, houses remarkable remnants of ancient Greece and the medieval era. Particularly worth visiting is Lindos, a picturesque village with an acropolis and narrow streets. The Street of the Knights, the Palace of the Grand Master, and the Archaeological Museum in the old town of Rhodes are additional highlights.

  • Bodrum is a picturesque city with whitewashed mud houses spilling, densely packed, down the hillside. To the north of Bodrum are the important archaeological sites of Miletus and Didyma. Miletus was once the biggest city in the ancient world. The Milesian school of thought was founded there in the sixth century, with the result that Miletus is now heralded as the birthplace of philosophical and scientific tradition. The temple at Didyma is simultaneously a place of pilgrimage and the site of an oracle dedicated to the god Apollo.
