What to expect

The highlights of this cruise

Australia is a continent of superlatives: from breathtaking cities, kangaroos and koalas to snorkelling at the edge of the Great Barrier Reef – look forward to the fifth continent in all its many facets.

From Benoa on Bali, the EUROPA 2 will take you to the highlights of Australia, with fantastic days at sea in between. In Darwin, for instance, a flight to Kakadu National Park* will be an eye-opening experience. The bright-red coral reefs are also very impressive, which you can best discover from idyllic Lizard Island or from Cairns while snorkelling* on the famous Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy a tranquil day at Airlie Beach with its palm-fringed beaches and on Middle Percy. Afterwards, you will reach the sunny city of Brisbane with its many cultural offers as well as lively Sydney. The city is not only famous for its Opera House with its sail-shaped roof construction, but legendary Bondi Beach* and the Blue Mountains* are also worth a visit. In addition, Australia offers wine lovers an exquisite selection. Sample the fine wines in the famous Barossa Valley* when the EUROPA 2 moors in Adelaide. At the end of your cruise, get to know Australia’s native wildlife and visit Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park* in Penneshaw, where kangaroos, koalas and many other species live. Then, in Melbourne, it will be time to say goodbye to the EUROPA 2.
