Thu, 06.01.2028 Hambantota (Sri Lanka) – Shangri-La’s Golf & Country Club
The championship course is situated right on Hambantota beach. The spacious fairways, lined with coconut palms, offer spectacular views of the Indian Ocean in some places. The course lies on a traditional old elephant trail, which is why the great-grandchildren of the pachyderms still make a point of strolling leisurely through the grounds every September during their annual migrations. For the rest of the year, however, only the elephant in the club logo serves as a reminder of the original pachyderms, allowing you to concentrate fully on your game. Take, for example, the 4th hole, a 175-metre par 3 that requires a carry of 110 metres from the tee. However, if you go into overdrive here, you quickly run the risk of slipping into the bunker waiting to the left behind the green.
Wed, 12.01.2028 Porto Malai (Langkawi) – The Els Teluk Datai
Golf legend Ernie Els has created a wonderful blend of pristine rainforest and unique fairway experiences on Langkawi with the Rainforest Course. The South African has managed to design the fairways in such a way that players of all abilities should be able to leave the course with a positive score. The views that unfold as you play also reward non-golfers with their uniqueness. Among the highlights of the round are undoubtedly the three holes that finish right on the coast of the Andaman Sea.
Fri , 14.01.2028 Port Kelang (Malaysia) – Palm Garden Golf ClubÂ
This parkland course has been integrated into a pristine palm garden situated in the heart of the metropolis of Kuala Lumpur. Here, unusually for a city course, wide fairways and generous, fast greens have been created. Throughout the round, you’ll be accompanied by a very undulating, challenging terrain, which requires constant adjustments to your stance. On half of the holes, surrounding water features influence the course of play. The generous distances between the individual holes make the use of a golf cart advisable.
