    Relaxation at sea
  • “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend” – with Marilyn Monroe’s classic in mind, follow the trail of this gemstone in Antwerp, home to the world’s largest diamond exchange. Be inspired by the vibrant cultural city and the workplace of Peter Paul Rubens as you take in Grote Markt, the Cathedral of Our Lady, and the guild houses on an electric tuk-tuk¹ ride. The Royal Palace, Manneken Pis, and the Atomium shape your impressions of Brussels¹. Be sure to try one of the famous Belgian waffles here. Where the Scheldt and Lys rivers converge, Ghent¹ developed in the Middle Ages, integrating the course of the waterways charmingly into the cityscape. Make use of the long stay in Antwerp for an evening stroll through the city.

  • Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden – the anticipation of familiar sights in a new light and undiscovered corners accompanies you on the Thames cruise. To allow the HANSEATIC spirit to reach its berth directly in the city, the Tower Bridge opens, and you glide through the monument of gingerbread-style Gothic. A moment only possible with a small ship. “Welcome to London!” – a city of contrasts, with Gothic churches beside skyscrapers, punks in Camden, and elegant upper class. Unique, lively, and enjoyable: after your early evening arrival, look forward to unforgettable hours that turn your night into day. Whether enjoying a pint in a traditional pub on your own, strolling through trendy districts, or immersing yourself in the vibrant nightlife, our Travel Concierge will be happy to organise your very own evening¹ in the English capital in advance.

  • Today, the panoramic ride on the London Eye¹ offers you an overview of the city’s many facets. Whether on your own or organised, there is much to experience and admire. Kings and castles are as much a part of England as the Royal Family in Buckingham Palace. During a visit to Windsor Castle¹, explore the world’s largest castle complex and the former favourite residence of the Queen. You will gain completely different insights on the architecture and street art tour through London's trendy districts1. A timeless beauty is the white Queen’s House, originally a noble residence and later a royal navigation school.

    Relaxation at sea
  • Red rocks and abundant birdlife: Helgoland, Germany’s only high-sea island. The experts on board sharpen your eye for the great diversity, which you can observe perfectly from your prime viewing spots on deck. Up to 430 species have been recorded here – unique in all of Central Europe. A popular breeding site and at the same time one of northern Germany’s most impressive natural landmarks is the Lange Anna. The rock needle rises 47 metres above the island. Weather permitting, the Zodiacs are put into action. Expedition spirit and unexpected perspectives await you in the sturdy inflatable boats. This is how pirates must have felt when the island supposedly served as a smuggler’s paradise. A very famous pirate, Klaus Störtebeker, was captured in 1401 off Helgoland. A marine predator is the grey seal, which shares the dunes with harbour seals. Hunting at up to 40 km/h, it pursues sardines and cod in the water. You, on the other hand, are seeking spectacular panoramas on a walk along the 2.8 km cliff-top trail. In the fresh North Sea air, a fish sandwich tastes particularly good.
