These 18 terraced holes are situated on the volcanic foothills in the south of the island. The high plateau on this volcanic island provides a fitting backdrop for the fairways; the Atlantic Ocean in the background ensures a special round of golf. The mostly straight fairways give players of all abilities a real chance of achieving a promising score. The views of the vast Atlantic Ocean could instil a certain sense of calm.Â

These eighteen spacious holes are situated in a valley in the south of the island, below the Barranco del Cura. The parkland course is designed in the Arizona style. The integration of the playing areas into the surrounding foothills creates a harmonious interplay. This is particularly evident on the 8th hole, a 336-metre par 4. After a short approach, you’ll find a green surrounded by three rock faces. Anyone who overshoots the target here runs the risk of the ball being sent flying back by the surrounding rocks.

Mon, 27.03.2028 Agadir (Morocco) – Le Soleil Golf Club Â
Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Atlas Mountains, 36 oasis-like golf holes lie along the natural coastal strip. Consisting of the Championship and Tikida courses, to the west of the city of Agadir. The golf courses, designed in a classic parkland style, underwent partial refurbishment in 2019, significantly improving the quality of the fairways. The eucalyptus forest embracing the fairways and the breeze blowing in from the ocean add to the experience. Even though the first landing areas appear a little narrow from some tees, a safe first landing makes the ‘second shot’ very favourable for the course of play. With the well-trained caddies on hand, it should even be possible to play without losing a single ball.

Golf legend Gery Player has created a wonderful blend of sporting fairways and unspoilt dune landscape right on the Atlantic coast. The fairways, some of which appear quite delicate, demand the utmost in forward-thinking course management. To make matters more challenging, alongside the golfing challenges there are numerous distracting views of the accompanying ocean. All in all, a very special golfing experience that you are sure to remember for a long time to come.
