As a schoolboy, he met the publicist, collector and founder of the Kunsthalle Emden, Henri Nannen, who fuelled his enthusiasm for classical modern art. He went on to study art history and literature in Hamburg with study visits to San Francisco and Munich. After completing his master's degree, he joined the Berlin auction house Villa Grisebach as an expert in modern art. In 2000, Thole Rotermund finally turned his passion into a profession: he returned to Hamburg and founded an art dealership specialising in works of classical modern art. In addition to the classic art trade, as a competent consultant he not only advises established collections but also international collectors on the acquisition or sale of a work of art. Thole Rotermund Kunsthandel is represented at the leading art fairs in Cologne, Munich, Karlsruhe and Berlin. He is also a member of the board of the Federal Association of German Galleries and Art Dealers (BVDG).

Dr. Lisa Zeitz is editor-in-chief of WELTKUNST, the art magazine of DIE ZEIT, and is responsible for the specialist magazine KUNST UND AUKTIONEN, the weekly WELTKUNST newsletter and the digital industry briefing WELTKUNST Insider. She studied art history in Freiburg and Florence and completed her doctorate in Munich on the Titian collection of Federico Gonzaga. Before moving to Berlin, she worked in New York for ten years, most recently as an art market correspondent for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. She has always been interested in how collections are created. Together with her father, she wrote the book “Napoleons Medaillen” (Michael Imof Verlag), and later published her biography of Werner Muensterberger, the psychoanalyst and collector of African art: “Der Mann mit den Masken” (Berlin Verlag). In her podcast “Was macht die Kunst?” Lisa Zeitz talks to artists such as Albert Oehlen and Valie Export and other interesting people from the art world every month.

Triton, an ensemble consisting of the internationally acclaimed instrumentalists Sindri Lederer (violin), Andrea Burger (viola) and Antonia Köster (piano), is devoted to interpreting not only the masterpieces of classical music but also the virtuosic and passionate realms of salon, film, and dance music through sophisticated arrangements. This unique blend of profound classical works and evocative popular melodies allows Triton to captivate its audience, transporting them to diverse worlds and enchanting them with the ability to tell compelling stories and embark on musical journeys through time. The ensemble draws its name from the sea god Triton, a mythical figure embodying diversity, who, with his playing of the Triton horn, could both stir and calm the seas.

Jane Comerford is one of Germany’s most versatile and influential musicians. The Australian-born singer first gained international recognition as the lead vocalist of the successful German band Texas Lightning. Her career began in the late 1980s in Vienna, where she was chosen from thousands of applicants to play and sing the role of Eponine in the German-language premiere production of Les Misérables. In the 1990s, she released her debut solo album, Somebody Sent Me An Angel. The single I Feel Herzschmerz in particular demonstrated her exceptional talent as a singer-songwriter. With her song "No No Never", she wrote a triple-gold-certified No. 1 hit, secured Texas Lightning’s victory in Germany’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, and captivated millions of viewers both in Athens and across Europe. By then, she had already established herself as a highly respected lecturer at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre, mentoring renowned artists such as Johannes Oerding, Peter Fox, and Revolverheld. She has also worked as a vocal coach for Hape Kerkeling, Jan Delay, and many others. In 2019, her long-awaited album Filmreif! Hollywood, Pyjamas und andere Tragödien! was released—her first album entirely in German—and was immediately featured on Germany’s prestigious Liederbestenliste. Today, Jane works from her own recording studio, composing music for a variety of artists and projects. She also continues to make selected appearances as a singer, coach, and expert in live performances and television productions.

More than three decades ago, Swiss-born Heinz von Holzen chose a culinary path over engineering and went on to work with leading hotel groups such as Hilton, Hyatt, and Ritz-Carlton across Europe, Australia, and Asia. His journey eventually brought him to Bali, where he served as opening Executive Chef at the Grand Hyatt and Ritz-Carlton. Recognizing the lack of authentic representation of Balinese cuisine, he founded Bumbu Bali Restaurant & Cooking School in 1997 together with his wife Puji. Through his hands-on cooking classes and dedication to preserving local traditions, he has become a leading authority on Balinese cuisine and helped establish Bumbu Bali as an internationally respected destination. Beyond the kitchen, Heinz is an entrepreneur, author, and passionate photographer. His deep connection to Indonesian culture has taken him across remote regions of the country, resulting in nine cookbooks that document its rich culinary heritage and everyday life. Together with his family, he is also committed to charitable work, supporting the porters and families of Kawah Ijen through education, medical aid, and community support.
