Haiou Zhang is regarded as one of the finest pianists of his generation. His six CD recordings released on the Hänssler CLASSIC label have been nominated for the International Classical Music Award (ICMA) as well as the Opus Klassik and were produced in cooperation with Lufthansa. As a soloist, he has performed with more than 50 international orchestras and conductors. His concerts are regularly met with standing ovations at venues such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Berlin Philharmonie, and on international stages ranging from São Paulo, Mexico City, and Toronto to Singapore, Tokyo, and Shanghai. He combines a deep and unmistakable passion with a strong commitment to chamber music for piano. In recent concert seasons, he has been a regular guest with renowned orchestras including the Berlin Philharmonic, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, the WDR Symphony Orchestra, and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony (hr-Sinfonieorchester).

“Haiou Zhang & Friends” brings together internationally sought-after musicians on board the MS EUROPA 2 in a special chamber music ensemble. Double bassist Nabil Shehata, formerly Principal Double Bass of the Staatskapelle Berlin and the Berlin Philharmonic, is now Music Director of the Barenboim-Said Academy Orchestra and Professor of Double Bass in Munich and Berlin. French violinist Mohamed Hiber, concertmaster of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, works closely with Daniel Barenboim and Anne-Sophie Mutter and appears as a soloist with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the Czech Philharmonic. Cellist Laura Szabo, Deputy Principal Cellist of the Tonkünstler Orchestra, was invited by Gautier Capuçon to join the third “Classe d’Excellence de Violoncelle” at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris and performs on a cello built by Riccardo Antoniazzi in 1898. For many years, violinist Mikhail Pochekin has performed with renowned orchestras and collaborated with conductors including Heinz Holliger and Vassily Sinaisky. He is also co-founder and Artistic Director of the Landshut Chamber Music Festival in Bavaria, which has been supported by “Freunde der Musik e.V. Landshut” since August 2023. Together with his brother, violist Ivan Pochekin—who is active across Europe with his own chamber music projects and whose international career gained momentum in 2005 after winning the 3rd International Moscow Violin Competition “Niccolò Paganini”—he is regarded as one of the defining musical voices of his generation.

The German-Italian singer, songwriter, and artist Leonora is considered one of the most exciting new voices on the German pop scene. In 2025, she reached the final of Germany’s Eurovision pre-selection “Chefsache ESC 2025 – Wer singt für Deutschland?” with her self-written song “This Bliss,” presenting her music to a multi-million audience. Blending pop, funk, soul, and disco, Leonora combines international influences with a powerful and distinctive voice. She began writing her own songs at an early age and has since performed on numerous stages—from clubs and festivals to major live events. In 2025, she embarked on her first headlining tour across Germany, captivating audiences with high-energy performances and deeply personal songs. As a support act, she has already toured with renowned artists such as Max Mutzke, steadily building a growing fanbase. Whether on large festival stages or in intimate club settings, Leonora impresses with her authenticity, musical versatility, and commanding stage presence. With her original songs, she brings fresh momentum to the German pop landscape and is currently working on her debut album.
