Roman von Thurau, born in 1967, comes from the far north. After starting a psychology degree in Hamburg, he discovered his true passion for the stage and the art of magic. He learned the craft of illusionism from a Polish master and completed training in NLP and hypnosis. Vivian, who grew up in Tehran, Rio de Janeiro, and Sao Paulo, completed her art studies at FH Hamburg. Always fascinated by the mysterious, she met Roman von Thurau in 2000, and both quickly realized they complemented each other perfectly. As the artistic duo Sonambul, they have since developed unique stage performances that combine intelligent and entertaining experiments in mental magic with Vivian's expressive drawings. Roman von Thurau and Vivian create their own full-length theater shows, touring Germany, and have participated in numerous national and international TV productions. The best part: they can combine their profession with their passion for traveling! After numerous performances in places like the USA, India, Singapore, Cape Town, Marrakech, Bahrain, and the seven seas, their longing for foreign lands, new cultures, and inspiring encounters remains. Roman von Thurau and Vivian live in Berlin, Lisbon, and the Algarve.

Founded in Amsterdam in 2014 and now based in Salzburg, the Amatis Trio performs in major concert halls around the world and is regarded as one of the most sought-after piano trios on the international scene. Violinist Lea Hausmann, British cellist Samuel Shepherd, and Dutch pianist Mengjie Han are praised by the international press for their captivating energy, communication, and remarkable versatility. The ensemble marked its 10th anniversary with extensive tours across Europe, invitations to Israel and India, and performances in leading venues such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Vienna Konzerthaus, London’s Wigmore Hall, the Philharmonie Luxembourg, and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. In 2025, they celebrated a highly successful debut in Japan. Early distinctions as BBC New Generation Artists and ECHO Rising Stars quickly propelled the trio to the forefront of its genre. The Amatis Trio has received several of the world’s most prestigious music awards, including the Netherlands’ Kersjes Prize and the Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship Award. They were recipients of the Irene R. Miller Piano Trio Residency at the University of Toronto, Canada, and have served as guest lecturers at Cambridge University in London since 2019. As sought-after soloists, the trio’s members perform with renowned orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra London and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. In 2018, the Amatis Trio released its debut CD on cAvi Records featuring works by Britten, Enescu, and Ravel. Their second album, an interpretation of Messiaen’s Quatuor pour la fin du temps with clarinetist Ib Hausmann, earned them an OPUS Klassik nomination in 2023 and was hailed by critics as “one of the most important chamber music recordings of recent times.” The Amatis Trio continually explores new sonic landscapes. The three musicians are committed advocates of contemporary music and have commissioned 15 works for piano trio to date, including Moorlands, an evocative piece by Swedish composer Andrea Tarrodi.

Clarinetist Ib Hausmann refuses to be confined to any one category. He delights in building bridges between classical and contemporary music, and between the worlds of Klezmer and jazz. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has travelled the globe for many years. Among his most important teachers and sources of inspiration—besides pianists Menahem Pressler and Leon Fleisher and composer György Kurtág—are his chamber music partners: Dénes Várjon, Kit Armstrong, Alexander Lonquich, Benjamin Schmid, jazz pianist Michael Wollny, the Amatis Piano Trio, and renowned string quartets such as the Cuarteto Casals and the Hagen Quartet. He has received German Record Critics’ Awards for his recordings of clarinet sonatas by Max Reger and works by Berthold Goldschmidt. EMI released Prokofiev’s Quintet featuring, among others, Tabea Zimmermann and Daniel Hope. For Deutsche Grammophon, he recorded Gerhard Frommel’s Double Concerto for Clarinet and Piano, as well as the album Terezin with Anne Sofie von Otter and Christian Gerhaher, which was nominated for a Grammy in 2008. Together with the Amatis Trio, he released a 2022 recording of Olivier Messiaen’s Quatuor pour la fin du temps, which received “enthusiastic” reviews from outlets including Süddeutsche Zeitung, Klassik Heute, and AllMusic. For the past five years, he has successfully directed “Die Kammermusik in Wiesbaden” with his own artistic concepts, as well as the annual late-October festival “SelboldKlassik” in Langenselbold.

Mila Santana is a Brazilian singer and actress known for her powerful voice, elegant artistry, and captivating stage presence. A finalist on The Voice Brasil 2022, she has performed in more than 40 countries, enchanting audiences aboard prestigious cruise lines such as Silversea Cruises, TUI Cruises, and MSC Cruises. Mila presents several show formats, including Brazilian Dreams — a vibrant performance celebrating samba and bossa nova, which has opened Cirque du Soleil at Sea productions on MSC Cruises. Her repertoire blends Brazilian rhythms, jazz, soul, and international pop with sophistication and emotional depth. She has also appeared in acclaimed musical theatre productions, including “Ray Charles – Você Não Me Conhece” at Teatro B32 in São Paulo. Her passion for disco music has led to remarkable performances, including sharing the stage with the legendary Gloria Gaynor. Mila also leads her own orchestral show, touring across Brazil with a unique fusion of classic arrangements and contemporary energy.

He began playing the violin at the age of five and started piano two years later. He continued his musical studies at the École Normale de Musique and subsequently at the CNSM in Paris, where he founded the Quatuor Hanson in 2013. With this ensemble, he won numerous international prizes at competitions in Lyon, Vienna, and Geneva. These achievements led to performances in major European concert halls (Philharmonie de Paris, Wigmore Hall, Victoria Hall, Auditori de Barcelona…) as well as in Asia. Between 2019 and 2024, the quartet released several albums on the Harmonia Mundi, Aparté, and Brecords labels, all highly praised by French and international critics. Their recordings received distinctions including the Diapason d’or of the year 2020, several Choc Classica awards, the BBC’s “Editor’s Choice,” and the “Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik.” A versatile musician with a passion for jazz and world music, Jules Dussap is an active member of the French jazz-manouche scene and performs alongside artists such as Sanseverino, Félicien Brut, and Tangomotan, whether with the Paris Jazz Session collective or with the group Génération Django. He appears at international festivals including the Django Reinhardt Festival, Jazz à Nice, and Django in June.

JB FineArts was founded in 2012 by Jessica Bauer in Hamburg, after having worked for almost 15 years in various fields of the international art market. Following her studies in history of art at the University of London and Florence, she completed a graduate trainee program at Sotheby’s auction house. Jessica then went on to work in New York, not only in the big auction houses, but also in a well known gallery, where she collected varied experience. Contacts to artists were made at this time already, and were quite useful when it came to setting up her own gallery. The discovery and promotion of young international artists, but also some regional talents, is the main focus.

Coming from a family of art dealers, Jessica Bauer left for England right after school. After studying History of Art at the University of London and also in Florence, she did a Graduate Trainee Program at Sotheby’s auction house. Following this, she was working in the art world in New York for several years, not only at auction houses, but also at some of the big galleries. Several contacts with artists were made at this time, which would be helpful later in building her own gallery. The main focus lies on sourcing and promoting international artists with a special quality, but also discovering local talents. Her own passion for the wonders of nature and traveling are also being reflected in her exhibitions.
