Golf & Cruise

Experience the world's most beautiful golf courses

Along the Cote d’Azur, this route not only takes in the highlights of the Mediterranean coast, but the EUROPA 2 also offers the opportunity to discover some splendid golf courses. Particularly during late summer, the beautiful nature of the Mediterranean region can be enjoyed to the fullest here. A Golf & Cruise voyage with three absolute highlights.

Mon 18.08.2025 Marseille, France – Golf Dolce Fregate Provence
These 27 holes are located on a high plateau close to the Atlantic Ocean. They are divided into an 18-hole and a 9-hole course. The varied sweeping fairways work their way through the neighbouring vineyards and numerous olive groves, leading to generous, modulated greens that are not always easy to gauge. The natural setting with ample views of the Mediterranean Sea creates a very special atmosphere. The course’s extensive layout recommends the use of a golf cart.

Tue 19.08.2025 Cannes, France – Golf de Saint Donat
Very well-kept 18 holes challenge the golfer to a round. The parkland course with its fairways laid out amidst a landscape of existing trees demands overview and precision, especially as the natural subsoil is very modulated. However, if you tee off with care, you should be able to toast your round with a refreshing result in the modern clubhouse after your game.

Sun 24.08.2025 Porto Santo Stefano, Italien – Argentario Golf Club
The venue for many tournaments - including the Italian Open in June 2025 - the golf club is nestled in an oasis just a few minutes from the Duna Feniglia Nature Park, with the Orbetello lagoon, the sea and the rolling hills of Monte Argentario offering a breathtaking panorama. A very spectacular and varied course; the wind and the water surface on the last green could be a challenge.

general information

  • In order to guarantee a comfortable flow of play for all golfers, we have determined a basic speed, which is sufficient for a playing time of 4.5 to 5 hours on foot (covering 18 holes with a trolley).
  • Due to tournaments, renovations, etc. at the various golf clubs, our Golf & Cruise programme is subject to change at short notice.
  • Golf & Cruise voyages allow all players with a handicap of 36 or less to play on courses all over the world.
  • Additional courses can only be booked in conjunction with the basic package.
  • The reservation of e-carts cannot always be guaranteed due to local availability and weather conditions. You may, therefore, have to play and walk just with trolleys - possibly even on hilly courses. Please consider this when planning/booking your Golf & Cruise package.
  • Halfway refreshments are always ordered via the respective golf club; we have no influence on the quality of the snacks. We kindly ask for your understanding.
  • When booking a Golf & Cruise package and flights through Hapag-Lloyd, we will register your golf equipment directly with the airlines – when possible and required. The current baggage regulations of the relevant airline apply. In your travel documents, which you will receive about four weeks prior to departure, you will find relevant information about this. Excess baggage fees for golf equipment are normally to be paid at check-in.
  • Rental clubs for right-handed and left-handed players are available on board, subject to a surcharge.
