Golf & Cruise

Experience the world's most beautiful golf courses

A real treat for golfing connoisseurs. The route leads from the West Coast of North America all the way to Central America with a diverse array of golf courses on offer. Here, the players’ skills are put to the test individually and at each location. Perhaps that is why there is bound to be a course that will hold a very special place in one’s personal golfing history.

Fri 02.05.2025 San Diego, USA – Steele Canyon Golf Course
The Steele Canyon Golf Course offers a very special golfing treat. South African golf legend Gary Player has masterfully utilised the natural landscape to create 27 impressive holes. These are divided into the Canyon, Ranch and Vineyard Courses, each offering very different playing options. If the Canyon Course is characterised by rather stately fairways, the Ranch Course sometimes requires players to cover considerable distances from the tee. The Vineyard Course, on the other hand, with its partly overgrown fairways, requires foresighted course management.

Wed 07.05.2025 Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Vista Vallarta Golf Club
These two 18-hole courses were conceived by the two great masters Jack Nicklaus and Tom Weiskopf, who each dedicated themselves to one course. The courses feature extremely wide fairways and strategically placed bunkers. As is so often the case, the geological conditions also determine parts of the design. The parkland-style courses, for instance, are fringed with dense areas of palms and impressive ficus trees.

Fri 09.05.2025 Zihuatanejo, Mexico – Palma Real Ixtapa Golf Club
The Caribbean-style 18-hole course with its numerous coconut palms impresses with its lines directly on the Pacific. Robert Trent Jones Jr. has succeeded in creating generous fairways on the slightly hilly terrain. The legendary designer has with the well-placed bunkers, an integrated water hazard and the partly original jungle structure has created a playing experience that requires foresight and an overview.

Wed 14.05.2025 Puntarenas, Costa Rica – La Iguana Golf Course
A golfing adventure with very special flaura and fauna. An impressive 60 % of the fairways make their way through spectacular jungle landscapes. The exotic bird species that live in this region vie for attention along the way with their calls. If you can afford to take your eye off the ball, you might feel the gaze of a watching yellow-throated toucan and other creatures. Even if the fairways are very narrow in places, posing quite some difficulty, the course provides an unforgettable experience beyond the game itself.
