Lenna Bahule is a vocalist, composer, and art educator hailing from Mozambique. She is known for her vocal range and arrangements, as well as vibrant rhythms that blend traditional with contemporary sounds from Mozambique and other Afro cultures. Her genre-bending, transcendental and captivating music style is characterized by the use of organic materials to produce music, electronic soundscapes, lyrics in different African and imaginary languages, and immersive body-mind-soul experiences. Lenna Bahule has collaborated with musicians around the world, including names like Virginia Rodrigues (Brasil), Varijashree Venugopal (India), Melanie Bourire (La Réunion), Mû Mbana (Guinea-Bissau), Paulo Flores (Angola), and Stewart Sukuma (Mozambique). Her discography consists of two original albums (NÔMADE and KUMLANGO) and one album of popular songs and children’s games from Mozambique (MEMÓRIAS DAQUI – cantares e outros sons).
