Classical Music meets Meditation - a retreat in a class of its own
Following a successful debut, ‘Classical Music meets Meditation’ will continue in 2027. Classical music and mindfulness intertwine. Concerts, meditation, breathing exercises, yoga and bodywork come together to form a programme in which music is not only heard, but also experienced physically and emotionally.
The Atlantic crossing provides the necessary space for this. Without having to change ports every day, music, silence and physical practice can be repeated and deepened. This creates a calm and intense atmosphere on board over several days.
Three musical perspectives shape the programme. CHAARTS brings the immediate power of the ensemble to the fore. Marlis Petersen combines singing with voice, breath and aromatherapy. Francesca Guccione opens up a modern approach to meditation through contemporary compositions and soundscapes. Experts in yoga, meditation and bodywork complement the programme. They make the connection between listening and feeling immediately tangible.
Sound, silence, breath and movement intertwine to form the central theme of the Atlantic Crossing.
