Sol Pereya Trio
Sol Pereyra, singer, actress, multi-instrumentalist and composer, with a professional music career spanning over 15 years. Her soloist career began in 2009, she has recorded six albums. She has collaborated with Julieta Venegas, La Dame Blanche, Muchachito Bombo Infierno, Los Mirlos, Kevin Johansen, Los Caligaris, Jorge Serrano, Mula, Sara Hebe, Poirier, El Chávez, Faauna, Flavia Coelho, Agrupación Cariño, Rebeca Lane, Dany Calvario, Ramiro Jota, Salón Sandunga, Sarazino, Hot Plug Beats. She has performed at major festivals in more than 15 countries in North and South America and Europe. Four times nominated for Gardel Awards in Argentina. She composed Nadie te preguntó, emblematic song for Latin America’s youth.
From the start, her work has been based on being free of any prejudice and on a sonic exploration of electronic music, pop and folkloric traditions in Latin America and the world. In her musical map, you can hear guitars mixed with electronic beats, wind instruments, samples, percussions, marimba and synthesizers. She’s currently on a world tour with her latest album, “La Película”.
