Experience the world's most beautiful golf courses with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises

From the Baltic Sea, the course heads purposefully towards the Atlantic. Typical British golfing experiences await you there, all of which have to contend with the third dimension as well as the actual layout. The wind is always part of the game! You should definitely factor this into your game strategy. If you take this to heart, you will take home some very special golfing experiences!

Fri 20.08.2027 Newhaven (Edinburgh), Scotland - Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club - East Course
This very typical English golf course offers two 18-hole experiences. The traditional layout of the course creates very ‘slim’ fairways that demand a high degree of precision. The concentration required to hit the ball in the right direction means that you will remember this course as a very intense golfing experience. In addition to the narrow fairways described above, typical English sand hazards must also be played around. There are also numerous water hazards on the Championship Course.

Sun 22.08.2027 Invergordon, Scotland - Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club
The eighteen holes of the links course are located on a headland in the far north of Scotland. The design features narrow fairways, which are also very ‘wind and weather sensitive’ due to the location of the entire course. Those who have directional control of their ball have a clear advantage!

Wed. 25.08.2027 Liverpool, England - West Lancashire Golf Club
A typical northern English links course awaits you in the north of Liverpool, in a pristine dune landscape. Its clearly modulated, closely spaced fairways are accompanied by impenetrable roughs. The layout is constantly influenced by the ever-changing Atlantic winds. This makes targeted course management all the more important for the right score - golf made in England!

general information

  • In order to guarantee a comfortable flow of play for all golfers, we have determined a basic speed, which is sufficient for a playing time of 4.5 to 5 hours on foot (covering 18 holes with a trolley).
  • Due to tournaments, renovations, etc. at the various golf clubs, our Golf & Cruise programme is subject to change at short notice.
  • Golf & Cruise voyages allow all players with a handicap of 36 or less to play on courses all over the world.
  • Additional courses can only be booked in conjunction with the basic package.
  • The reservation of e-carts cannot always be guaranteed due to local availability and weather conditions. You may, therefore, have to play and walk just with trolleys - possibly even on hilly courses. Please consider this when planning/booking your Golf & Cruise package.
  • Halfway refreshments are always ordered via the respective golf club; we have no influence on the quality of the snacks. We kindly ask for your understanding.
  • When booking a Golf & Cruise package and flights through Hapag-Lloyd, we will register your golf equipment directly with the airlines – when possible and required. The current baggage regulations of the relevant airline apply. In your travel documents, which you will receive about four weeks prior to departure, you will find relevant information about this. Excess baggage fees for golf equipment are normally to be paid at check-in.
  • Rental clubs for right-handed and left-handed players are available on board, subject to a surcharge.
