Experience the world's most beautiful golf courses

The programme includes golfing experiences for connoisseurs. English, Irish and, of course, Scottish golf courses offer you an exceptional playing experience. Simply because of their sometimes even purist approach to course layout. However, this is the origin of the game and is then something very special in its execution!

Wed 07.07.2027 Cobh, Ireland - Fota Island Golf Club
The renowned resort has an impressive 54 holes spread over three parkland courses. These are the Deerpark, Bevelly and Barryscourt courses. The resort is particularly proud of the fact that it has already hosted the Irish Open twice. The course is known for its challenging holes and picturesque surroundings.

Fri 09.07.2027 Galway, Ireland - Galway Bay Golf Resort
Located directly on the west coast of Ireland is the mixture of classic links and resort course designed by Irish golf pro Christy O'Connor Jr. The fairways are rather atypically wide for a links course, with the golfing journey leading past numerous pot bunkers on the way to the manageably small greens. Special care should be taken to ensure that the ball does not land in the unpleasant sand hazards.

Sun 11.07.2027 Greencastle, Ireland - Ballyliffin Golf Club, Glashedy Links
This Northern Irish links course presents itself, in typical fashion, with narrow fairways, almost all of which are accompanied by gentle dune hills. In contrast, the fairways end on relatively large greens, which is not typical. However, the score will be decided at the tee box, where the right feel for direction is required for the first distances. In other words, safe shots bring safe results.

Thu. 15.07.2027 Invergordon, Scotland - Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club
The eighteen holes of the links course are located on a headland in the far north of Scotland. The design features narrow fairways, which are also very ‘wind and weather sensitive’ due to the location of the entire course. Those who have directional control of their ball have a clear advantage!

  • Due to tournaments, renovations, etc. at the various golf clubs, our Golf & Cruise programme is subject to change at short notice.
  • Golf & Cruise voyages allow all players with a handicap of 36 or less to play on courses all over the world.
  • Additional courses can only be booked in conjunction with the basic package.
  • The reservation of e-carts cannot always be guaranteed due to local availability and weather conditions. You may, therefore, have to play and walk just with trolleys - possibly even on hilly courses. Please consider this when planning/booking your Golf & Cruise package.
  • Halfway refreshments are always ordered via the respective golf club; we have no influence on the quality of the snacks. We kindly ask for your understanding.
  • When booking a Golf & Cruise package and flights through Hapag-Lloyd, we will register your golf equipment directly with the airlines – when possible and required. The current baggage regulations of the relevant airline apply. In your travel documents, which you will receive about four weeks prior to departure, you will find relevant information about this. Excess baggage fees for golf equipment are normally to be paid at check-in.
  • Rental clubs for right-handed and left-handed players are available on board, subject to a surcharge.
