Camillo Radicke, born and trained in Dresden, won the piano competitions in Mallorca (Chopin), Athens (M. Callas), and Vercelli (Viotti). He has performed as a soloist and chamber musician throughout much of Europe, the Middle East, the Emirates, South America, Cuba, Japan, and Korea. During his career, he has played with renowned orchestras such as the Dresden Philharmonic, Staatskapelle Dresden, Stuttgart Philharmonic, Munich Chamber Orchestra, and the RAI Orchestra Turin, under conductors including Marek Janowski, Gerd Albrecht, Michel Plasson, Tamas Vasary, Juri Temirkanow, and Ludwig Güttler.
Radicke has performed in prestigious venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie, Musikverein Vienna, Tonhalle Zurich, Mozarteum Salzburg, Cité de la Musique Paris, Wigmore Hall London, Sala Prestes Sao Paulo, Cologne Philharmonie, Herkulessaal Munich, concert halls in Vienna, Berlin, and Dortmund, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, and opera houses like the MET Opera New York, La Scala Milan, Teatro Colon Buenos Aires, City Opera Tokyo, Teatro Zarzuela Madrid, Liceu Barcelona, Palais Garnier Paris, Opera Rio de Janeiro, Opera Santiago de Chile, Teatro Bogota, La Monnaie Brussels, and Grand Théâtre Geneva.
He has been a guest at the Salzburg Festival, the Edinburgh Festival, the Ruhr Piano Festival, the Beethovenfest Bonn, the Rheingau Festival, the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg, and BBC Concerts in London. As a Lied accompanist, he has worked with renowned singers including Peter Schreier, Olaf Bär, Juliane Banse, Marlis Petersen, René Pape, and Piotr Beczala.
