    Prof. Dr. Peter Schwarz

    Prof. Dr. med. habil. Peter Egbert Hermann Schwarz, born in 1971 in Eisenberg/Thuringia, has been dedicated to medicine since the age of four. After completing his studies in Dresden, he focused on developing medical methods that benefit not only individual patients but also larger groups. Initially a leading researcher on the genetic causes of diabetes, he later shifted towards prevention methods. In 2009, he became Europe's first professor for diabetes prevention and care.  Prof. Schwarz is a pioneer in modern therapies and preventive measures for chronic diseases, both in Europe and internationally, always keeping practical patient needs in mind. He is the driving force behind international networks where doctors collaborate to combat chronic disease epidemics. Recently, he expanded his expertise with business studies, developing digital products to support healthy lifestyles. One of his core beliefs is that 10,000 steps a day can prevent almost every chronic disease.  As President of the International Diabetes Federation, with 240 member societies and over 500 million patients, he travels globally to improve diabetes care. Prof. Schwarz is passionate about simplifying complex medical concepts and emphasizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle in disease prevention.

    Prof. Christina Roll

    Prof. Dr. Christina Roll, a native of Lower Bavaria, combines expertise in sports science, medicine, and psychotherapy with a holistic perspective. After completing her sports science degree (state examination and master’s degree, 1995), she began studying medicine at the University of Regensburg the same year. She earned two doctorates (Dr. med. 2004, Dr. phil. 2005) and co-developed the university’s sports medicine curriculum. She completed her specialist training in orthopaedics and trauma surgery, supplemented by additional qualifications in sports medicine, manual therapy, and acupuncture (A-diploma). In 2012, she habilitated in trauma surgery, and in 2019, she was appointed adjunct professor of orthopaedics and trauma surgery at the University of Regensburg. Since 2013, she has worked in outpatient rehabilitation and teaches in the fields of prevention, sports medicine, and rehabilitation. In 2018, she expanded her expertise to include psychotherapy, focusing on psychosomatically influenced musculoskeletal disorders—truly bridging body and mind. A sought-after speaker and expert—frequently featured on Bavarian Broadcasting—Prof. Roll is known for her scientific rigor, clear communication, and practical, engaging approach to complex topics.

    Prof. Dr. Erland Erdmann

    Prof. Erland Erdmann was born in 1944 in Cammin/Pomerania. In 1962, he spent a year as a student in Michigan, USA. He studied medicine at Oxford, England, and Göttingen, where he completed his state examination in 1970 and earned his doctorate with a thesis on the effects of cardiac glycosides. After training in biochemistry at the University of Giessen, he began his specialist training in internal medicine at the Georg-August University of Göttingen in 1973. From 1974, he continued his training at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he was appointed professor of internal medicine and head of the cardiac catheterization laboratory in 1984, following his habilitation in 1979. In 1993, he accepted a professorship in internal medicine (cardiology, pulmonology, angiology, and internal intensive care) at the University of Cologne. From 1997 to 2001, Prof. Erdmann also served as Vice-Rector for Research and represented research interests at the German Rectors’ Conference until 2010. He has received numerous national and international awards, including the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, First Class, in 2006. He is a member of the Academia Europaea. Together with Prof. Marx (Aachen), he has been editor of the standard German-language cardiology textbook Klinische Kardiologie, now in its 9th edition (2023) published by Springer. Until 2019, Prof. Erdmann was the editor-in-chief of the Deutsche Medizinische Wochenschrift for more than 20 years. He is also the longtime editor of the continuing education journal Kompakt Kardiologie. Since retiring in October 2012, Prof. Erdmann has served as a voluntary member of both the Ethics Committee of the Medical Faculty of the University of Cologne and the NRW Review Board for Medical Malpractice. He is also involved in the development of new drugs and therapies for heart disease and dedicates much of his time to medical continuing education and public awareness about effective prevention of cardiovascular diseases.

    T3in1, 3in1 Entertainment's dance project based in the heart of Hamburg's St. Pauli district, consists of a pool of first-class dancers who are hand-picked for each project. Their versatile skills range from contemporary dance, hip hop, and street dance to jazz genres and are skillfully demonstrated in the two top-class shows they present on board. A sophisticated combination of music, costumes, and visuals created by a team of artists from 3in1 Entertainment completes the expressive choreography. You may know the members of T3in1 as dancers, choreographers, and models from German television or as part of well-known concert productions and television formats. 3in1 Entertainment presents its shows worldwide in various locations, from the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas to the Schmidts Tivoli in Hamburg, as well as on numerous stages around the world, and is proud to present T3in1 exclusively to the guests of Europa I/II.

    Senja Rummukainen

    Senja Rummukainen won the 1st prize at the Finnish National Cello Competition in 2014 and was a finalist at the Guilhermina-Suggia Competition (2015) as well as at the prestigious Tchaikovsky Competition (2019). As a soloist, she has performed with orchestras such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Mariinsky Orchestra, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, and Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, under conductors like Sakari Oramo, Dima Slobodeniouk, and Esa-Pekka Salonen. In the 2024/25 season, she will debut with the Cleveland Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and at the BBC Proms. She is regularly invited to festivals such as the Kuhmo Festival, Turku Music Festival, and Vevey Spring Classic Festival. As a chamber musician, she has collaborated with Janine Jansen, Ilya Gringolts, and Augustin Hadelich. She completed her concert exam at the University of the Arts Berlin under Jens Peter Maintz. Currently, she plays a cello by David Tecchler (1707), generously provided to her by the Finnish Cultural Foundation.

    Franklin de Sousa

    Franklin de Sousa, born in São Paulo, is an internationally recognized oboist. His exceptional talent was acknowledged at an early age when he won the "Young Soloist" award three times: in 2012 and 2013 from the Fundação Maestro Eleazar de Carvalho, and in 2016 from the Orquestra Experimental in São Paulo. Just a few years later, he was awarded the International Music Competition in Brescia, Italy (2022). He studied with Dominik Wollenweber, Albrecht Mayer, and completed his Master's degree at the University of the Arts in Berlin under Washington Barella. In addition to his work as an orchestral musician, Franklin de Sousa also performs as a chamber musician at festivals in Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, France, and Japan. As a founding member of the Brazilian Winds Ensemble, he celebrated a significant achievement in 2022 when the ensemble was selected by the German Music Council for a tour of Germany. In 2024, they received an invitation to the 54th Campos do Jordão Festival in Brazil.

    Viviana-Zarah Baudis

    Viviana-Zarah Baudis, a pianist and presenter, captivates her audience with her authentic and personal connection to music. In the 2024/25 season, she debuted with Gabriel Prokofiev and the London Symphony Orchestra, as well as with the Phion Orchestra under Benjamin Levy at the Muziekgebouw Amsterdam. She won 1st prize at the Concerto Competition of the Cleveland Institute of Music and made her U.S. debut with the CIM Orchestra and Sameer Patel at Severance Hall in Cleveland. She was also awarded 2nd prize at the YPF - European Piano Competition in the Netherlands. In December 2023, she made her sold-out debut at the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein with Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 1. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree on a full scholarship at the Cleveland Institute of Music under Gabriela Montero. At the age of 13, she was invited by Lang Lang to perform at his 30th birthday concert in the O2 Arena in Berlin, as one of the world's top young pianists. Since then, she has performed in venues such as the Philharmonie im Gasteig, Wigmore Hall London, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, and the Künstlerhaus Munich. After a long collaboration with Igudesman & Joo, she debuted with them and the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
