Aris Quartett
Expressive, dynamic, impressive: The Aris Quartet has been performing on international stages for over a decade and is now among the elite in chamber music. It has played in venues such as the Wigmore Hall in London, the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, and the Philharmonie de Paris, and collaborates with artists like Christiane Karg, Tabea Zimmermann, and Daniel Müller-Schott.
Founded in Frankfurt in 2009, the quartet has remained in its original lineup and counts Günter Pichler (Alban Berg Quartet) among its mentors. The ensemble quickly gained international recognition, winning numerous first prizes at prestigious competitions, including being named "ECHO Rising Stars" and receiving five awards at the ARD Music Competition.
In addition to regular radio and TV appearances, the Aris Quartet has released six critically acclaimed albums, with more set to be released in 2024 and 2025 through Deutsche Grammophon and STAGE+.
