GOP stands for the Georgspalast in Hanover, a variety theatre with a long tradition. The brand name has since been taken to seven other locations in Germany and is now the most successful variety theatre company in Europe.

Under the motto ‘Entertainment for all the senses’ and the artistic language of imagination and skill, the GOP utilises the tension between avant-garde and tradition to create a new world of variety theatre, delighting over 700,000 visitors every year.

The GOP shows were created exclusively for the MS Europa 2, full of artistry at the highest level and audiovisual experiences in the productions. The boundaries between fiction and reality seem to blur, physics appears to be suspended and the impossible appears to become possible. The physical artistry of the fantastic artists, artistic pearls that are woven into a glittering chain of all facets of variety art, create modern, highly impressive show experiences.

Born in Baden-Baden under the Chinese zodiac sign of the Fire Horse, she won a national reading competition at the age of eleven. After completing her high school education, she studied acting in Paris at "Les Cours Florent" and with Stella Adler in New York. Her film debut was in 1998 in the French arthouse film "Riches, Belles et Cruelles", starring Claudia Cardinale. She went on to appear in more international films, acting alongside Steven Seagal, Anouk Aimée, Marisa Berenson, and Leslie Nielsen. Recognizing her comedic talent, Hape Kerkeling cast her as the female lead in the film "Isch kandidiere".

In addition to her film and theater projects, she has a great passion for literature. She lent her voice to the audiobook version of Henry Miller's "Sexus" (released by Deutsche Grammophon), which she presented at the International Literature Festival in Berlin and the International Theater Festival in Bielefeld. Currently, she is performing in five different theater productions: "Gut gegen Nordwind" and "Alle 7 Wellen" by Daniel Glattauer, the German premiere of "Eine verhängnisvolle Affäre" at the Hamburger Kammerspiele, the French comedy "Die Kehrseite der Medaille" by Florian Zeller in Frankfurt and Cologne, and the dark comedy "Sag nein zum Geld", starting in the summer of 2023 at the Bad Hersfeld Festival. In 2023, her play "Offene Zweierbeziehung" by Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo and Franca Rame premiered as part of the Nibelungen Festival in Worms.

Ron Spiess moved to San Francisco immediately after graduating from high school, where he attended the Jean Shelton Acting School and landed a role in the 20th Century Fox production "Class Action" alongside Gene Hackman. Upon returning to Germany, he completed his training at the prestigious Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in Berlin. His career includes engagements at theaters in Berlin, Braunschweig, Heidelberg, Baden-Baden, Vienna, Salzburg, Krefeld, Frankfurt, Dresden, and Hamburg.

As a director, Spiess staged Schiller's "Joan of Arc" with 450 participants on Germany's largest open-air stage in Ötigheim. In addition to his work in radio and theater productions, he frequently appears on television. Spiess has portrayed Francis of Assisi both on stage and on TV, and he played Jan Hus and Johannes Kepler in the ARTE production "Der Luther-Code." He has also appeared in various episodes and roles in the TV series "Tatort," "Ein Fall für Zwei," and "Alarm für Cobra 11." Many also know him as Commissioner Tiedemann from the daily soap "Unter Uns" and as a voice actor for audiobooks, radio dramas, and documentaries.
