Mon 18.08.2025 Copenhagen, Denmark – Kokkedal Golfklub
Some serious precision work is needed here. The manicured parkland course with fairways that become very narrow in places demands accurate ball trajectories. Most of the fairways on this 18-hole course are fringed by original mature trees. Golfers who make it safely to their target with straight shots have tackled moderately sized, well-modulated greens.
Fri 22.08.2025 St Petersburg, Russia – Peterhof Golf Club
Peterhof is one of the few championship courses in Russia. The design by Greg Norman brings a very American golfing feel to the Russian setting. His typically wide fairways are significantly influenced by five artificial lakes. Numerous well-placed bunkers guarding the spacious, manicured greens also add difficulty. Four different tee boxes for each hole ensure that any level of player can enjoy their game. As a cultural highlight, the day here is rounded off impressively with a guided tour of Peterhof.
Mon 25.08.2025 Stockholm, Sweden – Kungsangen Golf Club – Kings Course
Half of the holes on this “regal” course weave through mature trees, creating rather moderately sized fairways. Choosing the right club is therefore particularly important, as the available landing areas will not necessarily tolerate big variations. By contrast, the other half of the holes are expansive. This varied layout allows every level of play enough “space” to finish with an impressive score.
Wed 27.08.2025 Gdansk, Poland – Gdansk Golf & Country Club Postolowo
Poland’s golfing pride and joy makes players work hard for their score. The 18 fairways alone are definitely in the league of champions, covering 7,100 m (7,765 yd) from the rear tee. As the widely spaced layout – designed by Jeremy Turner – features sweeping fairways, a golf cart is strongly recommended for the round. On the way to the green, bunker landscapes are spread out, which are designed in an interesting way and guard the landing areas in their natural settings.
