How the Upgrade Programme Works
1. Check for an upgrade
If your cruise has been selected for the Upgrade Programme, you can log in with your booking number from as early as 125 days before departure to view the available upgrade options. Eligible guests will be notified by email.
2. Place your bid
Select one or more available suite categories and enter your preferred bid. The bid amount applies per cabin/suite as an additional charge to the current cruise price. Bidding on multiple categories increases your chances of receiving an upgrade – you will, of course, only be charged for the upgrade that is confirmed.
A credit card is required to verify your bid. Your card will not be charged at this stage. If your upgrade is successful, the amount will be charged using the payment method stored in your booking.
3. Manage your bid
After submitting your bid, you will receive a confirmation by email. As long as your bid has not been accepted, you can amend or cancel it up to 3 days before departure. Your original booking will remain unchanged until a decision has been made.
4. Receive the result
We will notify you of the outcome by email no later than 2 days before departure.
- Bid accepted: Your upgrade will be confirmed and the bid amount will be charged in addition to the cruise fare.
- Bid not accepted: Your originally booked suite category remains unchanged. No additional charges will apply.
Good to know
- Upgrades are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
- Your new suite may be located on a different deck, including a lower deck.
- If several bookings are travelling together, the upgrade request is assessed individually for each booking.
- Upgrade bids apply per suite. Prices and availability may vary.
