Sun 03 Nov, Lanzarote – Lanzarote Golf Resort
Green fairways wind through the volcanic landscape in the south of the island. If you manage to stay on the fairway, you will be sure of enjoying a positive end result. After all, whatever your handicap, the wide fairways and fair greens will help you on your way to success.
Mon 04 Nov, Fuerteventura – Fuerteventura Golf Club
This 18-hole course is not only in very good condition, it also has some interesting figures: on the 6,128 m (6,700 yard) par 72 course, the fairways are up to 50 m (165 ft) wide with 67 bunkers leading to greens measuring an average of 610 m2 (730 square yards). Such generous dimensions should guarantee a relaxing round of golf.
Tue 05 Nov, Gran Canaria – Maspalomas Golf Club
Situated right next to the Maspalomas dunes in the south of the island, this is an outstanding course for golfers. The par 73 course combines the green of the fairways with the desert sands of the Canaries as you make your way towards the clubhouse. It is a combination that makes this golf course a very special experience.
Wed 06 Nov, La Gomera – Tecina Golf Club (additional course)
At the foot of the volcano on La Gomera, 18 fairways have been designed in such a way that play is almost continuously downhill. The slopes underfoot have a steep incline of up to 10 % in places. The corresponding layout of the par 71 course is designed to ensure players enjoy the game. With intermittent views opening up of the Atlantic, this is a round that should be worthwhile.
Fri 08 Nov, Tenerife – Buenavista Golf Club
Severiano Ballesteros has left his architectural visiting card in the south-west of the island. Divided into three, the course has six holes of par 3, 4 and 5 holes on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic, so there is something here for every taste. The volcanic terrain has influenced the architect’s plans so that natural features have been incorporated in the layout. Severiano Ballesteros’ pet project ensures every level of player has a chance here.
