Relaxation at sea
Port Elizabeth/South Africa , 7.00 – 18.00 hrs
The city stretches over 16 km (9.94 mi.) along the coast with sandy beaches that sometimes extend all the way into the city centre. Beautiful nature is everywhere here: discover the nearby Kariega Private Game Reserve* with more than 25 wild species including giraffes, zebras and elephants and over 200 types of bird. A township tour* provides genuine insights into everyday life in South Africa.
East London/South Africa, 07.00 - 13.00 hrs
Past influence are obvious: the typical African background, a strong connection to England and the traces of German Settlers. Some good examples of 19 century architecture add to the cities charm. Bad traffic and full streets are seldom.
Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve*
The small Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve is situated on the malaria-free Eastern Cape of South Africa in the middle of five different ecosystems. You will travel for around 45 minutes through the Transkei region, with its typical Eastern Cape landscape, to the reserve. The area is perfect for safari trips because the reserve is home to the “big five” – elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo
Visit to the Mercedes-Benz plant*
The Mercedes-Benz plant in East London is part of the global C-Class production network together with the lead plant in Bremen. C-Class saloons for the right-hand and left-hand drive markets are produced for export on South Africa’s Eastern Cape. Production of the current C-Class began in May 2014, the fourth generation of the highest-volume Mercedes-Benz series. After a general introduction, you will begin a guided tour of the bodywork workshop and the assembly plant.
Durban , departure 20.00 hrs
Richards Bay/South Africa , arrival 7.00 hrs
South Africa’s largest harbour can be found in the midst of unique natural surroundings, and is the starting point for tours to the legendary Zulu Kingdom. The huge Hluhluwe Game Reserve* is one of Africa’s oldest wildlife reserves. Get up-close to leopards, lions and rare black rhinos. Experience the world of Africa’s waters with crocodiles, hippos and tortoises on a boat trip to iSimangaliso Wetland Park*, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with South Africa’s largest lake at its centre.
Richards Bay, departure 16.00 hrs
Relaxation at sea
Port d’Ehoala (Taolanaro)/Madagascar 7.00 – 17.00 hrs
With its beaches, lagoons and lush plant life, Taolanaro is rightly known as the “place of dreams”. An individual hike takes you to Pic Saint-Louis with its wonderful views. Across 50 ha (123.5 ac.), the Nahampoana Natural Reserve* presents unique flora and fauna including baobabs, rare palms, cinnamon trees and lemurs such as sifakas, ring-tailed lemurs and brown lemurs.
Relaxation at sea
Le Port/Reunion , 7.00 – 18.00 hrs
The city itself is worth a visit, a trading centre with remnants of French colonial times. But the island’s real attraction is its idyllic landscape. Journey to the Piton de la Fournaise volcano*, climbing to 2,300 m (7,546 ft) past constantly changing, unique panoramas. A helicopter flight* takes you to the island’s three valleys – see lush, green jungle and waterfalls from a bird’s-eye view in the midst of remote natural surroundings. And a hike to Cap Noir* proves that Reunion deserves its reputation as the Indian Ocean’s best island for hiking.
Port Louis/Mauritius, arrival 6.00 hrs

The Show
A night with the Magnets showcases the sheer versatility of a cappella performance. From Rat Pack to Rock Band, Nashville to Nightclub, The Magnets own each genre, effortlessly switching scene with their trademark inventive choreography and lashings of audience engaging charm. Current highlights include crowd-pleasing classics Feelin’ Good, Minnie the Moocher and Jolene, Sam Smith’s beautiful Lay Me Down, and a brilliant mash-up of the Jackson 5’s Can You Feel It and Can’t Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake. If that’s not enough, are you ready for Aqua’s Barbie Girl in eight different musical styles?
From the Beginning
From modest student beginnings as street performers in Covent Garden, The Magnets have had the joy of introducing millions to a cappella music for the first time in concert, on radio and TV. Their richly varied career has seen them sign a major record deal with EMI, release four albums, support superstars such as Tom Jones, Blondie and Bryan Adams, and play private shows for supermodels, heads of state and royalty. The Magnets pivotal role in the UK a cappella scene was recently acknowledged with a special feature on Gareth Malone’s The Choir, and the band are currently enjoying the upsurge in interest in a cappella music around the Pitch Perfect movies and new groups such as Pentatonix. This wave is enabling the group to take their music further afield than ever, touring Australasia, India, China regularly in recent years. A new album is planned for 2017 as well as returns to the Adelaide and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, tour dates in China, India and Europe and much, much more.

The ensemble impressively demonstrates that the saxophone has become firmly established in both domains. The worlds of jazz and classical, which are often presented as opposites, have much more in common than one might think. The combination of saxophone, violin and piano gives rise to a new kind of trio: virtuoso, gripping and explosive.

The combination of saxophone, violin and piano gives rise to a new kind of trio: virtuoso, gripping and explosive.
Three internationally successful soloists inspired by the musical heritage of the great masters of their field - Daniel Gauthier, Pierre Amoyal and Vassily Lobanov - have come together to form a new ensemble offering a perfect combination of string, keyboard and wind instruments, adding an entirely new dimension to the listening experience.
Since its foundation in 2012, the Fratres Trio has performed at music festivals such as the Summerwinds Münsterland Festival, Musikfestival Rheinhessen and the Young Classic Europe Festival (Germany), the Musica Riva Festival (Italy), the International Return Festival in Yerevan (Armenia), the Musical Olympus Festival in St Petersburg (Russia) and Festival Européen Jeunes Talents in Paris (France).
