    Your ship - HANSEATIC nature

    The new expedition class

The naming ceremony of the HANSEATIC nature took place in Hamburg on 4 May 2019. Together with its structurally identically sister ships HANSEATIC inspiration (2019) and HANSEATIC spirit (2021), the small and state-of-the-art expedition ship explores remote destinations and visits the world’s most fascinating natural landscapes on challenging routes.

The new expedition class – which offers space for a maximum of 230 guests (or 199 guests on Antarctic cruises and Spitsbergen circumnavigations) – sets standards in terms of variety, comfort and personal space. This is why our ship has more open deck space than any other expedition ship. Find out more!

Historic Ronda* is one of the famous “white villages” and a highlight of Andalusia, with parts of the town perched on the edge of a 160 m (525 ft) deep gorge spanned by a bridge. Spring is the best time to discover the traces of the Moorish rule and the birthplace of bullfighting. Alternatively, go for an active hike along part of the Caminito del Rey climbing experience*.
