This cruise takes you to amazing golf experiences on the west coast of Europe. The route travels from north-west Spain up to Belgium, offering opportunities for golf that are well worth trying out. They may not always be easy, but they are sure to leave you with lasting memories.
Wed 20.04.2022 Bilbao, Spain – Uraburu Golf
This 18-hole championship course sits in the Basque highland at more than 320 m (1,050 ft) above sea level. The height of the course alone is enough to put players in a special place – depending on the weather, you either have a terrific view of the city of Bilbao and the surrounding mountain landscape, or the course is shrouded in a white-grey layer of cloud. This gives onlookers a very special atmosphere as play continues through the clouds and the fairways seem like they are packed in cotton wool.
Fri 22.04.2022 Bordeaux, France – Golf du Medoc
This multi-award-winning 36-hole course lies in what is possibly the world’s most famous wine-growing region. Like its sister the Chateaux course, the Vignes course is a wonderful parkland course, with fairways smoothly integrated into the surrounding unspoilt nature. The nature in this case also means direct contact with the wine-growing areas in the surrounding region. So it makes sense that you can look forward to a good glass of red after your game, when we invite you to enjoy a wine tasting.
Tue 26.04.2022 Honfleur, France – Golf Barriere Deauville
The well-formed fairways have been weaving through the existing landscape here since 1929, past mature trees and expansive heathland. The 27 holes are divided into red, white and blue sections. The surrounding flora repeatedly takes its toll on each of the fairways, as they become very narrow in places. If you want to achieve the ideal score, you’ll need a controlled game.
Thu 28.04.2022 Antwerp, Belgium – Royal Antwerp Golf Club
North-east of the port city of Antwerp you’ll find Belgium’s oldest golf course, which was founded in 1888. The course’s fairways run through densely forested landscapes, which keeps the playing areas very narrow. Appropriate course management is all the more important, which may mean a rather cautious game.
