Fri 25 Oct, Malaga – La Quinta Golf & Country Club
With 27 holes in total, the region’s showcase course is impressive. Divided into an A, B and C course, the layout has an American feel and is set out around white villas and numerous palm trees. Accordingly, there are some monstrous bunkers guarding the greens. Particularly worth mentioning is the fact that the fourth green on the A course is right on top of the southbound motorway – with the cover over the highway being used as additional land.
Sun 27 Oct, Casablanca – Mazagan Golf
On four of the 18 fairways, you will be playing right next to the Atlantic Ocean. Here, two “forces of nature” come together. Around the individual fairways, the land has been left untouched, which gives this course a special kind of charm. This, combined with the oriental atmosphere, will ensure that even the most experienced golfer will be enchanted by this course.
Tue 29 Oct, Agadir – Tazegzout Golf Course
A challenge for the mind and eyes: the 18 green fairways stretch through the savannah landscape of North Africa like an oasis and require your full concentration. However, it is worth taking a short pause to enjoy the views over the Atlantic. To make the most of your experience, however, you need to keep your eye on the ball, since if it misses the fairway, it will end up in the middle of “nowhere”.
Wed 30 Oct, Lanzarote – Costa Teguise Golf Club (additional course)
Set in the middle of the island amidst the typical volcanic sand, this 18-hole course with generous fairways was designed in 1978 to blend in with the natural environment. The ten fairways available for your round present a real challenge, for which you will need all the clubs in your golf bag. The volcanic ground will constantly provide some very strange distractions for your game.
Thu 31 Oct, Gran Canaria – Anfi Tauro Golf
The immediately striking feature of this course is the green grass of the fairways right in the middle of the monotone hilly landscape of the Canaries. Then the subtle details of this sensitively designed 18-hole course become apparent, with the natural landscape providing the perfect accompaniment to the game. Breathtaking views constantly open up so you may want to stop for photographs.
After his time as an amateur and professional golfer, he was a full-time national trainer to the German men’s team from 1998 to 2004. His players have gained titles such as European vice-champion and have won more than 25 international championships all over Europe. He has been an instructor at Golfclub Hamburg-Ahrensburg since April 2004 and is one of the men’s co-trainers for the national Golf Team Germany.
