Anna Magdalena Kokits, born in Vienna, received her first piano tuition at the age of four, and only a few years later found her ideal teacher and mentor in Alejandro Geberovich, with whom she went on to complete her studies with distinction at the Vienna Conservatory Private University. As a prize winner of many national and international competitions, she soon attracted attention and gave her first solo performances with orchestras such as the Tonkünstler Orchester Niederösterreich and the Moscow Virtuosos while still in her teens. Along with pursuing her solo career, which has made her a frequent and popular guest at festivals all over Europe, she has made chamber music one of the main focuses of her activity: partners of renown include Gidon Kremer, Dimitri Ashkenazy, Christoph Koncz, Lars Wouters van den Oudenweijer et al. Anna Magdalena Kokits appears as a soloist and chamber musician in most European countries, in Asia, North America and the Middle East, frequently combining her concert tours with masterclasses for young musicians. Besides the standard repertoire, the pianist devotes herself with particular interest to unknown or forgotten works. Her recording of piano solo pieces by Ernst Toch was released on the Capriccio label in June 2017.

closeFri 21.09 Amsterdam – BurgGolf Purmerend Golf Resort
This complex has four nine-hole courses. From the clubhouse, players can tee off on all four courses, and the last hole brings them back there again. The fairways are laid out in such a way that the courses are challenging, but the focus is very much on the fun factor. A premium-quality golf resort and an ideal place to unwind.
Sun 23.09 Honfleur – Golf de Deauville Saint-Gatien
This is a modern golf course built on what used to be agricultural land. As you might expect, the 18 holes run parallel to each other. But don’t let that put you off your game – the fairways require full concentration, and it takes a certain level of effort to master them.
Mon 24.09 St. Malo – Saint-Malo Golf Resort
This course is one of the most attractive in Brittany. The fairways have been incorporated into the original landscape in a unique way. The 18-hole course features natural bodies of water, solid granite and centuries-old trees. In between these features, you will be playing on long, undulating fairways with some fast greens, which makes the course especially challenging.
Tue 25.09 Brest – Golf de Brest Iroise (additional course)
This golf course in Brittany features 18 holes set in the middle of an old wooded area. The trees clearly demarcate the fairways and make the conditions rather unforgiving. Here it is advisable to take one club less, but place the ball straight on the fairway. Sometimes, less is more.
Fri 28.09 Bordeaux – Golf du Medoc Resort
There is an old French saying: where there’s good wine, there’s also good golf! This certainly applies to this 36-hole complex at the centre of the famous Medoc wine region. A venue for numerous international golf tournaments, it is filled with the aroma of the grapes from the nearby vines at harvest time. The Chateaux Course is a fascinating links course with several large greens and a few very long par-4 holes.
