A fresh approach to classical-crossover takes the most popular operatic melodies and makes them accessible to a wider public through a sound that is at once contemporary and true to the essentials of the great opera masters. Arias by Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, Händel, Mozart or Wagner are transformed through tango, swing, flamenco, klezmer- or Balkan sounds, producing a musical tightrope act that oscillates between tradition and innovation, and that ultimately fuses into a rich musical mosaic.
With just one tenor voice and four instruments, Don & Giovannis create a listening experience that is familiar and nostalgic, full of surprises, witty and totally engaging. The recordings testify to the ensemble's broad-mindedness, versatility and exceptional virtuosity. It’s how one might imagine a heavenly jam session of musical legends: Mozart swinging with Django Reinhardt, Bach improvising a tango with Astor Piazolla, Verdi jamming with Bob Marley! Recalling romantic neapolitan songs of Enrico Caruso’s time, swinging tunes à la Cole Porter, euphoric Sicilian tarantellas or passionate Argentinian milongas, Don & Giovannis, namely mandoline, accordion, clarinet and double bass accompanying the lyrical tenor voice, produce a musical experience that evokes sunsets by the sea, dreamy bars in the shadow of the Rio de la Plata, holidays on distant shores. Andreas Winkler and his musicians have developed a new language in music that won’t be boxed into standard categories. Exercising poetic license, in this project they also hark back to pre-digital times when instruments were played live and musicians didn’t worry about radio suitability or market compatibility. Ispasión is a uniquely attractive and spirited show ensemble which specialises in flamenco, tango and show entertainment. Ispasion was established in 2008 by the Spanish artists Laura Fernández and Daniel Orellana. Since then they have put down their roots in Berlin, although they also live in Jerez de la Frontera in Spain and perform at all types of events in Europe and around the world. Ispasion casts a new, innovative light on the concept of Spanish stagecraft. Ispasion has worked with international companies, ensembles and top artists including José Carreras, the Gipsy Kings, Joaquín Cortés, Pina Bausch, the Spanish National Ballet, Sony International, Hilton International and many others. The professionalism of the performers combined with impressive choreography and an exquisite selection of costumes and music that is sure to captivate you make Ispasion something unique and exclusive. The love for music led the Akustischen Vier (four acousticians) to the joint jazz studies at the University of the Arts in Berlin, since then they can no longer be separated.
9 years ago, the idea was born for a purely acoustic band, which was meant to evoke memories with their music; to the first stealthy kisses in the party cellar or nights at the camp fire. The pearls of pop, beat and swing repertoire will be brought to sparkle, crackling, free of electronics and filled with vocal arrangements especially written for them. The Four, who are also active in other musical fields – consist of a music professor, a film music composer and two band members, who are on the stages of this world more often than in their own homes - now appear highly praised all over Europe and impress their audience with their verve and unruly passion for music.

With their wonderful authenticity and pure joy of playing, the Acoustic Four bring whole parliaments to dance. During spontaneous music sessions with Prime Ministers, Global Players and film stars, they cause a sensation and help to unleash untamed musical talents. Even Prince Albert II of Monaco could not resist joining in to sessioning with the four musicians in a concert on the Cote d'Azur.

When they are not on the road, the gentlemen live in Berlin and Hamburg.

In 1969 Nici Mende was born in Lübeck where she grew up, feeling deeply attached to her town. By nature lively and sporty, she has made her vocation her profession from 1994 to date. She is an A-licensensed trainer in several areas of health and fitness, and also a TÜV Certified Personal Fitness Trainer. In 2012 she discovered her passion for the topic of fascial fitness. Being a student of the Fascial Fitness Association she sat the exam for Advanced Fascial Fitness Trainer, being trained among others by Dr. Robert Schleip. Furthermore, she pursued her education to specialise in Trainer for Medical Prevention, Rehabilitation ending as a Dipl. Trainer for medical Fitness in 2016. This completes her holistic view of fitness . She shares her experience as a lecturer for various training providers in teaching and training in Germany and other European countries. Nici’s impact of training is to improve her own concepts “FASCIAL COACH” and “PAINFREE BACK”. All of this aimed to teach people’s physical motion supported by various visual comparisions and a highly motivating promotion.
