Relaxation at sea
Sochi/Russia, 7.00 – 14.00 hrs
Sochi seems as though it were made for rest and recreation, with its exclusive health resorts, magnificent manor houses and extensive parks. In fact, the Mediterranean climate and mineral springs meant that this “Russian Nice” flourished around the turn of the century – allow yourself to be captivated by its charm on a city walking tour*. One of the many dachas* in the city was once home to Stalin. Today you can encounter a piece of history in its rooms, which have been kept just as they would have looked in Stalin’s day. A visit to the Matsesta spa is also impressive, as is a walk through the Caucasian National Park*. Your route will take you through dense boxwood and yew forests.
Sinop/Turkey, 8.00 – 14.00 hrs
For centuries, Sinop has played an important role as a centre of culture and trade on the Black Sea. To this very day, the well-preserved city walls that in the past served as a line of defence encircle the centre. Take a guided walk* through the city to step back in time and discover the past. Or explore the city’s most important sights, as well as the nearby area during a panoramic tour*.

Succumb to the charm of Odessa as soon as you reach the port. The 192 steps of the Potemkin Stairs will take you straight up to the magnificent Primorsky Boulevard. A city walking tour* takes you to discover the highlights of this grand boulevard and to visit the Uspensky Monastery, with golden domes reflecting the sunshine. Or go down into the Odessa catacombs* to discover the quiet secrets of the city. In the evening, the curtain will rise in the neo-baroque opera house for a ballet performance* that is second to none.
