closeWed, 04.03.2025, Santa Cruz, Tenerife (Spain) – Buenavista Golf at Melia Hacienda del Conde
Golf legend Severiano (Seve) Ballesteros designed one of his favourite golf courses in the far north-east of Tenerife near the Teno mountains. Wide, very playable fairways unfold on the volcanic terrain, giving every level of player a real chance. Only the bunkers that Seve loves so much have to be navigated intelligently around on the way to the finish. The clubhouse in the centre of the course is certainly exceptional, offering wonderful panoramic views of the fairways from its terrace.
Fri, 06.03.2025, San Sebastian, La Gomera (Spain) – Tecina Golf
The elongated layout of this course with its breathtaking 18 holes is found on a volcanic spur in the south of the island. The mostly straight fairways are located in a closely spaced fashion overlooking the Atlantic on a kind of high plateau. This location results in some very exciting holes with final “green areas”. The mixture of the green of the fairways and the blue of the Atlantic is sure to inspire passionate golfers.
Wed, 11.03.2025, Funchal, Madeira (Portugal) – Clube de Golf Santo da Serra
The oldest golf course on the island was established in 1937 at this location almost 1,000 m (3,280 ft) above sea level. The altitude of the course means that the climate is independent of the rest of the island. We recommend having a light jacket in your bag, as the temperatures will be very different from those in the harbour. The course itself is divided into two halves that stretch out from the clubhouse. The first nine holes plunge downhill towards the west in the direction of the cliffs, whereas the second nine spread out leisurely on a plateau behind the clubhouse. In general, you will be playing on mostly very sweeping fairways that are forgiving of the occasional shot.
