Not far away, Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park invites visitors to take extended bicycle tours and explore its gentle rolling dunes and wild heathland. To refuel on the way, we recommend that you stop off in exclusive Kampen and visit one of the exquisite thatched-roof restaurants. Between old captains’ houses and overgrown farmers’ gardens lies Sylt’s local history museum, where you can take a look back through time. The Rantum Basin is also worth a detour – the pond trail taking you across the beautiful marshland to marvel at the diverse bird life. A refreshing breeze pervades the old fishing village of Hoernum, where the lighthouse has been guiding seafarers for more than a century. And when the sun finally sets over the North Sea, it will be time for the 14th MS EUROPA meets Sansibar event.
