Bridge
Due to its crucial importance as control centre for all nautical and technical operations, the bridge is an extremely sensitive area. This is why international safety regulations prohibit its being open to the public. However, we will be glad to give guests an opportunity to visit the bridge whenever nautical interests or the local regulations of the current coastal countries allow. All of our guests on board may speak to the officer on duty to make arrangements for a visit to the bridge. The officer on duty will be glad to answer guests' questions.

Child care
We offer child care for children four years of age and older. If we have four or more children aged four or older on board, a child care specialist will go on the voyage and organise a very special children’s cruise with special excursions and children’s events both on board and on shore. Play, sport and creative programmes will be the order of the day from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and from 7:00 to 9:00 pm when the ship is at sea. There are two special rooms available for supervised playing of the children; they are open outside of supervised hours as well and are equipped for all age groups. The supervision periods on days with shore excursions – as a rule six to eight hours – are set according to the anchor time of the EUROPA so that parents have the option of occasionally going on excursions without their children. But besides this, we also offer shore excursions especially for children and parents. Moreover, our concierge will be happy to arrange for a babysitter (subject to charge) for children aged four or older outside of the official care times.
