Guests on board the EUROPA 2 experience top-class culinary variety. The gastronomic concept of the top-rated luxury cruise ship offers a choice of seven different, high-quality restaurants, including a sushi bar and three speciality restaurants. Guests can enjoy pure, informal luxury, as there are no fixed dining times - within the opening times - or fixed table allocations in the restaurants. All meals are included in the cruise price. In the latest episode of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’, British cruise expert, Jonathan Beaumont, discovers this selection of dining venues on board the luxury vessel. He comments: “Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ EUROPA 2 exceeds expectations when it comes to dining. A highlight is the caviar night on board each cruise – throughout the course of the night 15 kilograms are consumed and caviar is also available on every menu in every restaurant throughout the ship.”

Julian Pfitzner, Director Product Management EUROPA 2, says: “When it comes to the gourmet choices and range offered on board, we are totally prepared logistically and able to cater for all our guests’ tastes and food preferences, maintaining the highest dining standards afloat. Just to name a few facts, on an average 7-night EUROPA 2 cruise we experience daily consumptions by guests of: 400 kilos of meat, 120 kilos of fish, 85 kilos shell-fish, 30 kilos of cheese, nearly 1,400 fresh eggs and 85 kilos of flour.”

In January this year, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises launched, a new, visual initiative - presented by cruise expert Jonathan Beaumont - to create more awareness of the cruise style and concept offered on board EUROPA 2.
