Most EUROPA 2 cruise itineraries feature at least one day at sea. This is a great opportunity for guests to be able to try out everything – they can choose either to simply relax in the OCEAN SPA, in the 15-meter saltwater pool, or on one of the Balinese sleep beds. Alternatively, as featured in the ‘Programme of the day’ there are also several opportunities to stay active on board: a modern fitness studio, personal trainer, golf simulators, and various sports classes. Also available, ‘enhancing’ and educational activities such as an art tour - EUROPA 2 features 890 different works of art on board - a culinary class, or a gin tasting.

Keep Fit and Healthy with EUROPA 2
The wellness and fitness facilities are in a league of their own. With more than 1,000m
2 (10,764ft2) in the OCEAN SPA, guests find more space to relax in - and to feel more comfortable in - than on any other cruise ship of this class. The SPA area offers plenty of ways to stay active on board, such as two golf simulators, a fitness studio with course area, eight treatment rooms, one personal spa for uninterrupted time as a couple, three saunas, one steam sauna, relaxation area, whirlpool and an outdoor area with sun loungers. More than 30 sports classes are to choose from on an average cruise, such as yoga, pilates, and spinning. On request, the personal trainers will design individual exercise programmes for guests seeking professional one-to-one guidance.

State-of-the-art golf simulator
Guests can also indulge their passion for golf on a sea day: Two innovative golf simulators provide ultra-modern, video-based training opportunities; they can virtually play on 15 renowned golf courses worldwide. Guests also receive advice from an experienced golf professional – recognised by the Professional Golfers Association of Germany (PGA).

Inspiration at sea: guided art tour
With 890 individual pieces of art on display, the EUROPA 2 features one of the world's most valuable art collections at sea. The on-board gallery owner takes interested guests on a one hour guided tour. Featured artists include Damien Hirst, Gerhard Richter and Hans Hartung.

A unique experience: a gin tasting.
EUROPA 2 offers a choice of 37 different gins, including those from England, Scotland, Germany, France, Austria, the Netherlands and Spain – hosting the world’s largest gin collection at sea. It is an enriching and unique opportunity to join one of the complimentary gin tastings to learn more about gin and accompanying tonics. Naturally wine tastings are also held regularly on board.
