Golf – putting in North America

Sun 18 Sep Quebec – Le Grand Portneuf Golf Club
Just 25 minutes away from the city of Quebec, you will find 36 mostly straightforward holes which promise a fair golfing experience. The close arrangement of the holes next to one another leaves more space for the fairways, and the mature trees on the course will often stand in your way.

Tue 20 Sep Charlottetown – Fox Meadow Golf & Country Club

Just 25 minutes away from the city of Quebec, you will find 36 mostly straightforward holes which promise a fair golfing experience. The close arrangement of the holes next to one another leaves more space for the fairways, and the mature trees on the course will often stand in your way.

Tue 20 Sep Charlottetown – Fox Meadow Golf & Country Club
The Fox Meadow did not receive its name by chance. Numerous foxes on the course have become skilled at stealing golf balls. This is why the 18-hole parkland course has a special “fox rule”: balls removed from the game by foxes can be replaced without a penalty.

Thu 22 Sep Halifax – The Links at Brunello
McBroom managed to create a golf course that is stunningly beautiful and sensitively integrated with the natural landscape. The 7,089-yard course will offer Bentgrass tees, greens and fairways, GPS to the flag measurement, numerous white-sand bunkers, multiple teeing areas, and continuous paved cart paths. Remarkable views have been maintained and challenging topography has been transformed into spectacular fairways.

Sat 24 Sep Saint John – The Algonquin Resort
Opened over 120 years ago and redesigned several times since, this 18-hole course is now in the best condition it has ever been in – with fair, broad fairways and picturesque greens. Its location on a peninsula provides unfailingly fascinating views of the surrounding sea.

Sun 25 Sep Bar Harbor – Kebo Valley Golf Club (Additional course 1)
Rich in tradition, infinitely surprising and almost impossible to overcome – once you play on this course, you will never forget it. Golfers have been teeing off on this course since 1888. The course promises a unique and visually overwhelming experience, especially during an Indian summer.

Mon 26 Sep Boston – Stow Acres Golf Club
Almost 40 kilometres away from the anchorage point of the EUROPA 2 lie two 18-hole courses in the heart of apple country in Massachusetts. The two courses (the North and South courses) encircle the Victorian clubhouse.

Wed 28 Sep Oak Bluffs – Farm Neck Golf Club (Additional course 2)
This golf course is rarely short and straight: in most cases, the green can only be reached via at least one dog-leg and is therefore invisible from the tee. A Strokesaver will certainly come in useful on this course.
