    With two whole days, you will have ample time to explore the legacy of Peter the Great. Discover the countless artistic and cultural treasures of the Russian metropolis – for instance, on the city tour* with a visit to the Peter and Paul Cathedral or on a panoramic trip*. In nearby Pushkin, the blue-and-white Catherine Palace* is enchanting with its reconstruction of the legendary Amber Room. In the evening, one of the most prominent museums in the world awaits you: on an exclusive visit to Hermitage*, you will see a selection of the most beautiful works of great European masters. The summer residence of the tsars is situated on the Gulf of Finland: Peterhof* with its plush, furnished palatial rooms, the Grand Cascade and the magnificent parks. You will also pass numerous palaces on the canal trip* through St. Petersburg. Afterwards, be impressed by Saint Isaac’s Cathedral, one of the largest domed churches in the world, with a breathtaking interior. Even the metro of the city of the tsars is a work of art with its magnificent stations. Climb aboard and travel to the Alexander Nevsky Monastery*. Famous figures such as Dostoyevsky and Tchaikovsky rest in Tikhvin cemetery.
