Vanuatu (Tanna , Malakula , Ambrym Island , Espiritu Santo )

Fascinating Discoveries on Vanuatu
It is said that the inhabitants of this archipelago are the happiest people in the world. And when you land on the white beaches of Vanuatu off the tourist tracks with the Zodiacs and marvel at the gorgeous jungle, it will feel like paradise to you, too. The panorama of this pristine expedition territory is dominated by five active volcanoes. Even James Cook referred to Mount Yasur on Tanna as the “lighthouse of the South Seas“ back in his time. From Port Resolution, you can start out on a hike to the crater* where, from a safe distance, you might experience its natural “fireworks“. You can immerse yourself in the exotic rites of the archipelago when you reach Malakula with the Zodiacs for the first time, an island on which more than 30 languages are spoken. On Ambrym Island, you will be mesmerised by the magic of the Rom dance and unveil the secret of the sand drawings. Insights into the tranquil town of Luganville can be gained during the expedition stopover on Espiritu Santo. Visit the open-air market and see the astounding and fancy artistic craftwork before enjoying unique paradisiacal moments on the bright white Champagne Beach.
