Highlights of this cruise
- The romantic alleyways in the old town of Rhodes.
- Dreamlike sunsets on Santorini and Mykonos.
- The Corinth Canal**, an engineering masterpiece.
This vibrant town is the starting point for your cruise through the beauty of the Aegean.
This city was built on the ruins of the ancient settlement of Halicarnassus, whose mausoleum is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. On a boat trip from bay to bay**, you can cruise along the coast in traditional wooden yachts known as gulets, stopping to swim in the most beautiful spots and let your spirit soar.
Rhodes – the “island of the sun” – has something for everyone: wander through the narrow streets and alleyways in the medieval old town, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or travel along the eastern coast to Lindos** – a little gem dwarfed by the second largest acropolis in Greece. You can take a more active approach and explore the island on a walking tour** through dense forests with cypress trees and Aleppo pines.
The unique panorama of Santorini with its white villages and jagged, rocky coastline will be one of the highlights of your cruise. During a catamaran tour**, enjoy a stop at the uninhabited neigbouring island of Nea Kameni, where you can bathe in hot springs. Alternatively, walk through the winding alleyways of Megalochori and Pyrgos**, and enjoy a broad view of the island between the whitewashed houses and their blue dome roofs. In the evening, the setting sun bathes the island in magical light.
This almost uninhabited island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it is home to the most extensive excavation site in Greece. Fall under the spell of the site on a walk through the ancient boulevards.
A backdrop worthy of a postcard: whitewashed, cube-shaped houses, blue shutters and balconies lined with flowers. Enjoy the view of the port in the shadow of the world-famous windmills or try the local specialities in one of the cafes.
You won’t be able to resist taking a relaxed stroll through this port city with its narrow streets which feature steps, small shops and tavernas in abundance. Set out from here in a boat down the scarcely 23 m wide Corinth Canal** or walk along the historic Mycenaean trail** through the charming landscape of the Argolis region.
