LGT Young Soloists on board

The LGT Young Soloists are in many ways unique. Nine young people, 13 to 19 years old, have gathered as a group of highly gifted young string soloists. Together they have won over 70 first prizes in national and international music competitions. Since their debut in summer 2013, the young musicians have astonished audiences in Europe and Asia with a fine display of outstanding artistic skills.

The LGT Young Soloists convince with their youthful, inspiring and fresh approach to music. Their goal is to perform together and to learn from each other. They rotate in performing as soloists, always accompanied by their own orchestra. Against this backdrop, it seems almost negligible that the orchestra consists of ten nationalities with different backgrounds and cultures. The youngsters communicate through their enthusiasm and dedication to music. Alexander Gilman launched this project together with LGT Group.

Impulse & Inspiration

Broaden your horizons: IMPULSE & INSPIRATION

Space for new thoughts and ideas emerges when the wind and waves define the rhythm. Our series of events with the same name offers IMPULSE & INSPIRATION on selected cruises. On this cruise, we will be discussing the theme “Be spirited and creative”.

Change, creativity and business
These are in no way incompatible concepts for the fine artist, author and consultant Klaus Elle. The artist, whose works have been on display in New York, Paris, Johannesburg, Warsaw, Marseille and Berlin, has been developing creative visual methods of depicting complex processes in organisations and businesses in detail since the 1990s. Working as a consultant and coach for businesses and individuals, he has worked with MIT in Boston, ETH Zurich and the University of Tokyo.

Seizing life in every moment
Katja Sterzenbach
, a vitality consultant, has been focusing on the links between spiritual balance and physical capacity for more than 17 years. Using charming, refreshing and authentic methods, she can show you how to improve and maintain your long-term vitality and lust for life.

Encounter
Every encounter is closely linked with perception and perspective. The workshops run by the choreographer and dancer Jörg Weinöhl train one’s sense of self, awareness of encounters with oneself and others, and awareness of encounters with art and spatial surroundings.
