Even the following day will be dominated by la dolce vita. Sorrento towers on steep white cliffs, surrounded by pine forests and lemon groves. Wander through the streets, enjoy the spectacular view of the Gulf of Naples and try the local limoncello in one of the cafes. More pleasurable moments you can expect by gaining insight into the rustic Italian cuisine*. Journey into the past on a visit to Pompeii*. Around 2,000 years ago, the surprising eruption of Vesuvius brought life in this thriving city to a complete halt. Take a tour of the excavations, and enjoy fascinating insights into the everyday life of the ancient Romans. In the late afternoon, when the last rays of sunlight bathe the bays of Capri in magical light, we will reach the legendary island. On an individual exploration, you will get a sense the special atmosphere which has attracted kings, artists and writers.

 

Children's and Teens’ Excursion: In Sorrento, you can learn to make pizza just like the Italians*. Take a bus along the coast to a farm where pizzaiolo will show you how to prepare this treat. Make your favourite pizza and enjoy every mouthful.

The following morning, Porto di Ponza will greet you with an impressive panorama, where you can still experience authentic Italy. This area surrounds the port like an amphitheatre. Enjoy relaxing hours, either walking on the Corso Pisacane, sunbathing in the crescent-shaped Chiaia di Luna or on an individual boat tour to hidden caves.

With its dreamlike surroundings and harbour perched on a limestone plateau, Bonifacio is one of the most impressive cities in the Mediterranean. You can reach the old city with its narrow cobbled streets by crossing a drawbridge, and from the upper city you can enjoy majestic views of the sea. Take a city tour including a boat trip* and you will have plenty of time to let the diverse impressions of the city take a hold of you. Alternatively, you will experience the beautiful nature during a hiking tour to the southern end of Corsica*.

 

Children’s Excursion: Making city tours fun: we’ll jump on the mini train* and travel to the upper city in Bonifacio. From here we’ll be able to see the EUROPA 2 sitting in the harbour. Afterwards, we’ll see the old town and eat a delicious ice cream.

Teens' Excursion: Discover the beautiful landscape of Corse by mountain bike*! If the weather permits, we will include a stop for swimming! Have fun!

Children's and Teens' Excursion: In Valencia we’ll pay the inhabitants of the sea a visit. In the Oceanografic* aquarium there are over 500 different plants and animals, including sharks, sea lions and penguins. Here we’ll learn lots of exciting facts about various environments, from the Arctic to the tropics.
