Livorno (Florence)/Italy, 7.00 – 19.00 hrs
Set out from Livorno explore to Florence*, a Mecca for all lovers of art and culture. Visit the Uffizi Gallery* and its works by Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo or see the Ponte Vecchio. Pisa*, famous for its Leaning Tower, is also an inviting destination.
Sorrent/Italy , 13.00 – 20.00 hrs
Set off from the coastal town with its incomparable location on steep black cliffs on the Gulf of Naples to visit the ancient archaeological sites of Pompeii*. A guided walking tour will take you to the ruins of the Roman city buried by falling ash. A special four-wheel drive bus will transport you to a height of 1,000 m (3,281 ft) for a spectacular view on Vesuvius*. Or opt for a trip* on one of the most beautiful roads in the world along the famous Amalfi coast.
Lipari/Lipari Islands/Italy , 10.00 – 20.30 hrs
Cruising off Stromboli/Italy, arrival in the evening
There are several ways to explore the world of the Lipari Islands: enjoy trekking* to the active volcano of Stromboli or a boat trip to the island of Vulcano*. A cookery class* at Ristorante Filippino will give you an insight into the cuisine of the Aeolian Islands.
Giardini Naxos (Taormina)/Sicily/Italy , 7.00 – 18.00 hrs
Taormina* offers an impressive array of medieval palaces and buildings dating back to Greek and Roman times. The nearby coastal town of Giardini Naxos also promises a beautiful sandy beach for hours of relaxation. An all-terrain vehicle will take you to Europe’s largest active volcano Mount Etna*, which is not far away. Alternatively, go canyoning* in the Alcantara Gorge for a hands-on experience of Sicily’s wonderful nature.
Dubrovnik/Croatia , arrival 18.00 hrs
The historic town is like an open-air museum and is considered the “pearl of the Adriatic”. See Dubrovnik with a guided city walk* and cable car ride or on a kayak tour*. The city’s fantastic surroundings are also well worth seeing: a scenic tour* will take you to the vineyards of the Konavle Valley. Connoisseurs will enjoy an excursion to the small harbour village of Mali Ston*, which is famous for farming oysters and shellfish.
Dubrovnik/Croatia , departure 18.00 hrs
Hvar/Croatia , 07.00 - 18.00 hrs
Lavender fields, olive groves, rosemary bushes and typical vineyards fill the island with the fragrance of the Mediterranean. The picturesque main town looks like it has come straight from a fairy tale. A hike* along a dried-up riverbed will show you the island’s most scenic side.
