Rock4 is a Dutch vocal group that loves to experiment on well-known pop and rock songs, without musical instruments ever being missed. With a good deal of humour they present an array of carefully arranged, colourful songs in which their four voices beautifully blend Rock4’s unmistakable style. A style, which has won international recognition over the last years and is bound to surprise and capture the audience. The music of Rock4 is not standard vocal music. Every song is carefully analysed and reduced to its essentials and from there built up into an almost new song. Rock4 are: Miklós Németh, the charismatic base singer, Lucas Blommers, adding a warm classical tenor sound, Luc Nelissen as their rhythmic baritone, and – last but not least – lead singer Luc Devens with his impressive solos. Beautiful arrangements and intense singing have brought us to close the gap between rock music and the theatre. They never simply copy a song, but are always in search of a characteristic approach to the music. Rock4`s music is not meant to merely entertain, but to really move you.

Born in Hamburg, Christian Schoppe is one of the most renowned photographers in Germany. He began his career in Vienna where friendships and works originated with Oliver Hirschbiegel, Albert Oehlen and Martin Kippenberger. At 23 he received the Austrian national prize in photography for his early portrait works. Schoppe has made artist portraits which include Gilbert & George, Paul McCarthy, Mike Kelly, Jeff Koons and Franz West that were exhibited in the Centre Pompidou in Paris. As the first German photographer to do so, Schoppe was allowed to document the most exclusive winery in the world, Romanée Conti in Burgundy. In Hamburg, the elite of the German acting world is photographed by Schoppe. From Marie Bäumer to Maria Furtwängler, Alexandra Maria Lara, Heike Makatsch, Moritz Bleibtreu, Daniel Brühl, Til Schweiger, Will Quadflieg, Loriot. All of them have been in front of his camera along with many others. International names like Philipp Starck, Lou Doillon, Peaches, Alanis Morissette, Simon Collins, Chris Dercon, Hugo Rondinone and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have had their photographs taken by Schoppe. Steffi Graf, Franz Beckenbauer, Uli Hoeneß and the politician Heiner Geissler trust in his image making. His works can be found in magazines and newspapers including: Focus, Stern, Zeit Magazin, Weltkunst, Art, Vogue, Elle, Gala, Bunte, Grazia, Icon, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Business Week, Financial Times, Time Magazin, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Spiegel & Spiegel Online, etc. He has worked on international and national advertising campaigns for Deutsche Bank, SAP, Biotherm, Nivea, Juvena, Gillette and ARD/ZDF. Additionally, he has been listed in 80 stations-IDs of the television station ZDF NEO with his work as DOP and director. Schoppe passionately photographs his world travels. The pictures made with his analog camera reflect the daily rhythm of the venues he captures. Spontaneous photography is a new perspective with a painterly approach to color and light. Hapag Lloyd purchased 180 fine art prints from the world trip cycle for it’s art collection. He also films and photographs art projects for a multitude of companies including Louis Vuitton, a Haute Couture Reportage about Chanel and Dior, and a documentary for the fashion house of Martin Margiela.

The Barenboim-Said Ensemble is formed of a rotating line-up of musicians from the Berlin Ensemble Players, which was founded in Berlin in 2016 when a passion for chamber music brought young international musicians together from the best orchestras in Germany and the Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin. Since the group was established by the violinist Kim-Harald Plattner, musicians from the Berlin Philharmonic, the Staatskapelle Berlin, the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Komische Oper Berlin and the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra have been members of the Berlin Ensemble Players at various times. The performers on this concert tour are Kim-Harald Plattner and Hisham Khoury on violin, Benjamin Voce and Nir Rom-Nagy on viola, and Sol Daniel Kim and Paul Heyman on cello.
