Golf - challenges in the Mediterranean
Thu 06.07 Civitavecchia (Rome) – Parco de’Medici Golf Club
In the place where, in the 16th century, Pope Leo X hunted partridges, today golfers search for lost balls. Embark on an exceptionally interesting golfing adventure right in front of the gates of Rome. With numerous bunkers, ditches and six ponds, this challenging 27-hole course will push players to their limits.
Fri 07.07 Bonifacio – Golf de Sperone golf club
Players face a unique experience consisting of scenery and golfing pleasure. Even the tee box on hole 15, a par 4 up to 308 m (1,010 ft) in length, will prove a topic of endless conversation after the game. This spectacular dogleg to the left opens out onto a sliver of land jutting out into the Mediterranean. This hole is absolutely perfect for a selfie!
Sun 09.07 Nice – Opio Valbonne Golf Club
The oldest golf course in the region is nestled between the port of Nice and Grasse, a town famous for its perfume industry. In 1966, the fairways were carved out of the old forest on the plateau. The course has been modernised several times since then, most recently in 2002. Today, the 18 holes are in impeccable condition and consist of two halves: the first nine holes are obviously slightly more difficult, whereas the last nine are the more leisurely. The fairways are of considerable length.
A holiday is a chance to spend some time as a family - and on board the EUROPA 2, there are plenty of exciting opportunities for parents and children to discover the world together, or to go their own way if they prefer. In addition to a varied on-board programme of games and sports as well as arts and crafts, children and teens on family cruises can take part in specifically tailored excursions*. Our travel concierge service will be happy to suggest personalised family excursions* for you.
