Rolf Stahlhofen, singer and band leader

Rolf Stahlhofen was born in the depths of Bavaria and grew up in Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Nigeria and the UK. At the age of 18, he abandoned his studies to follow his musical calling and began working as a roadie, crew boss and tour manager for artists such as Prince, Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson and many more. A few years later, his passion for great soul singers like Van Morrison and James Brown led him to the microphone himself. A journey that began with the band “der mit dem Rolf tanzt” quickly took him to the top of the German-language music business. He performed at festivals with artists like Joe Cocker, Katie Melua, Simply Red, Simple Minds. With the group Rolf Stahlhofen und Freunde, he also harnesses the power of music to bring about change, financing aid projects in various countries. Look forward to an appearance from a wonderful artist with plenty of stories to tell, a voice that gets under your skin and a moving presence.
