Golf cruise – Grand courses with African charm

Wed 23.12 – Walvis Bay – Rossmund GC
This spectacular course, located on the dry riverbed of the Swakop River in the Namib desert, was designed by Gary Player and opened in 1980. Springbok and oryx sometimes roam across the fairways.

Sun 27.12 – Mossel Bay – Kingswood Golf Estate
This golf course provides fantastic views of the Outeniqua Mountains and captivates golfers with its valleys and rivers. Golfers love the diversity of this course.

Tue 29.12 – Durban – Durban Country Club
Despite the competition in George and Sun City, the Durban Country Club golf course remains the best golf course in South Africa. No other course in the country has so frequently hosted the South African Open and other championships. The course is right next to the Indian Ocean and was masterfully formed from the dunes. The course was opened in 1922 and redesigned in 1959. Certain holes are extremely difficult. The 12th hole, with its elevated green, is also known as the “Prince of Wales”.

Thu 31.12 – Port Elizabeth – Humewood GC
This course runs along the coastline and is one of the most challenging in South Africa. Countless lapwings will follow your game on the rolling fairways and in the deep bunkers.
