Your first destination is the legendary city of Casablanca. Wander along the bustling Corniche or take a city tour* and visit the second largest mosque in the world, the Hassan II Mosque, a majestic building with fine mosaics. Rabat* is just like from a tale from 1,001 Nights: visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, built with Italian marble in the Arabian-Andalusian style. Alternatively, take a cross-country trip to Marrakech*. The East opens up like out of a picture book on the famous Djemaa el Fna, with jugglers, snake-charmers and storytellers, whilst the aromas of exotic spices greet you in the labyrinth of souks.
Agadir/Morocco, 12.30 – 19.00 hrs
On the following day, re-embark in Agadir. It is not far from here to Taroudant*, also known as “little Marrakesh”. Framed by the imposing Atlas Mountains and surrounded by olive and orange plantations, this city and its mighty walls make for an impressive sight. Or take a trip in off-road vehicles* and discover traditional fishing villages, cliffs and wonderful beaches.

Arrecife your starting point for exploring the bizarre countryside of Lanzarote. Timanfaya National Park* features fascinating solidified magma flows and hot craters. Following the footsteps of the island artist César Manrique*, experience the symbiosis of art and nature, or discover the volcanic island in an electric car*. Afterwards, enjoy Canarian flair in Santa Cruz. Take a break in the cafes and on benches beneath trees as tall as a house on the Rambla del Franco.

Las Palmas on Gran Canaria is shaped by its rich historical and cultural heritage, which is most easily seen in the Vegueta district. Besides Santa Ana Cathedral, which is built in various styles, in this district you can find exclusive boutiques and comfortable tapas bars – making for a relaxing conclusion to your cruise which will come to an end on Madeira.

This 18-hole course in La Lomada de Tecina offers spectacular views of the valley, the Atlantic Ocean with the Teide in the background and the rich and varied vegetation. On hole 4, players must hit a drive across the Tapahuga gorge. Due to its length and location, hole 10 is particularly noteworthy: the tee can be found 45 metres above the green, giving players a majestic panoramic view.
After his time as an amateur and professional golfer, he was a full-time national trainer to the German men’s team from 1998 to 2004. His players have gained titles such as European vice-champion and have won more than 25 international championships all over Europe. He has been an instructor at Golfclub Hamburg-Ahrensburg since April 2004 and is one of the men’s co-trainers for the national Golf Team Germany.
